I went to buy the FFXI today and then I bought it as I was walking out of the store I notice it said DVD-ROM Software on the package so I turned around and took it back I looked around for A CD-ROM but to no luck I didnt find anything, Then I surfed the internet looking is there a CD-ROM verision of this game?!? amazon only has DVD...

If you bought the version with the 2 expansion packs (gold box), then it comes only on a DVD-ROM (to my knowledge). If you bought the version that has a white box and only 1 expansion, that comes on 5 CDs.
