Not only did they permaban my 3 remaining forum allowed accounts, they have blocked my whole ISP from even VIEWING the forums lol.
(not to worry, I am a network engineer and I know how to get around almost anything)
All for something where I did not troll, I did not flame, I did not insult. I posted facts and opinions. But did so in a persuasive way. That's real trolling, to knuckle draggers like GarVa and company. Someone who can express an opinion contrary to the establishment who does so under their stated guidelines is worse than someone who posts "fuck you asshole" (a real flame).
My in game accounts (all cancelled) were not touched. I still am undecided as to whether I will continue in SWG at all, I am thinking of moving to WoW as sad as that sounds. Or possibly Eve. If Eve had a ground game, it'd be the perfect MMO for me...
Ah well, Senate, don't feel safe, I am still after you. Or rather, we are. You will be disbanded, but not by us, but by SOE. As will the whole game in the next 4 months as the NGE continues to flop worse than the next Britney Spears album. Inevitable. And the sad thing for you is you will be the LAST to realize it, we already knew SWG was doomed by the Iceberg NGE.

I hear lots of SOE nay-sayers saying how they got banned and whatnot, i'd ban you too if you went on my forums talking shit about the game I invested loads of moneys in and spent countless hours on.

The same could be said for us, Countless hours put in, Loads of money invested. To achieve what? Shit shoveled into our faces?! We had a game we loved, an atmosphere that was unattainable by any other MMO.
It is gone, for what? for this "New Game Enchanments" Which was miracously layed down upon us and then enforced?
I love how all of you look at this and tell us to get over it, make like it never happened, make like our time and money wasn't worth a damned thing.
This is just like a major player base Genocide, now overlooked and made like it never actually happened. Just like history. Take a look at the Armenian Genocide? Ever hear of that? Rwandian genocide? the Bosnian genocide?
I know it is a little extreme to compare this to an actual genocide, and I apologize to anyone who has become offended for me to even compare a genocide to a game. and I agree, it isn't a life or death thing. But I hope you are understanding my point, you need to realize. for what this is, or what it was. It was a big landmark to the MMO industry, to the Star Wars Universe.
So many people joined this game, wishing to live their dreams of living in the Star Wars Universe. So many people awaiting for a Star Wars MMO, and one is finally annouced. and then having it just crushed like that?
The Vets have not seen justice in any of this, and we will never be satisfied, until we get our game back. And/Or Watch SOE/SWG perish in flames

The senate was disbanded with NGE. The remaining members for the most part are just puppets.
Also debating is healthy. I worked in retail and there is one thing I learned. Most customers that are unhappy leave and never return without saying a word.
Therefore for every person that is complaining there are many more that have just left without saying a word.
As much as you do not like customers that do complain they must be thanked as they have taken the time to point out some problems.
Now there is also complaining and whining as well. Please do not get them confused.

They just look for keywords, skim the post, make an assessment based on how many "bad" words are in it, check how many times you have been warned or suspended, and then take action. They have NO idea about what was said, just that it contained pre-CU FTW or NGE sucks or something like that.
SOE: Everything is fine with SWG, there is no danger, because there are no problems.

the players also invested countless hours, money, and time into the game, only to have Smedley's piss rain down upon them from the sky. SOE deserves so much more hate than they have already received.

Actually it is NOT.. for one reason.
The forums are supposed to be for communication between the devs and the players. A well thought out, non-flaming post stating a player's opinion SHOULD be welcomed.
At least, that's what they are SUPPOSED to mean when they ask for feedback. Guess they only want the positive feedback.
