Immersion into Roleplaying communities

Hello,

I'm actually downloading the Free-trial at this point, since my curiosity is sparking. I have a few questions, primarily on the Roleplaying community. I'd appreciate any information you can give on this matter; please be polite. I'm still trying to figure the game out and mechanics.

My first questions are, on the Roleplaying servers, is the roleplaying content indepth and always available both based on history of Camelot and lore? The lore and history of the Camelot's era always intrigued me and it'd be nice to be accepted into it within the game.
Would I be able to meet people interested in becoming friends and willing to roleplay often, both event wise and together? I enjoy games more if the roleplay is encouraged greatly and is easy to find; example being if there's a meeting place[eg. a tavern in a city] that people go to meet with fellow roleplayers and interact in a roleplay environment.

Are roleplayers very common in the game's community, and are there different styles of roleplaying? Such as, are there certain people "cliques"[Perhaps a bad choice of word] that enjoy good strong, heavy roleplay while others enjoy light, casual roleplay? On a scale from Light, Medium and heavy- I consider myself to be a medium roleplayer because sometimes one must say "AFK, need to do <Insert need here> Back in a few minutes" and interrupt an RP session for a few minutes. Though I do love to roleplay as heavy or light as it comes to me; events always encourage me to participate and sometimes real life does tap you on the shoulder for a moment.

Are there Roleplaying based Guilds/clans within the game? Ones that are either very focused on the history and lore of Camelot and base their events and roleplay on it or some that casually roleplay as it's placed before them. Joining a guild based on roleplay is always my first desire- Meeting people with common likes such as roleplay is always a great thing to me and it helps get the game moving for myself and possibly many others seeking friendships.

-This is probably a huge topic to read, but I do wish to know things before I immerse myself into the game's community.-

Another of my questions is about the roleplaying servers; is one more populated than another? Is one more disverse in languages and different ideals; is there one with more RP content than another? A string of questions, but all important for me to know. I'd hate to drop myself into the world of DAoC and find myself unable to communicate to people and ask for help when needed or even find my way into the roleplaying field.

As far as PvP or RvR goes, do the roleplayers of the DAoC community participate on a roleplaying level, or dive right into the battles without? I'm fine with either, though the first always adds more excitement to a full blown battle; it can be tiresom and difficult to type and fight at the same time, so I understand if RP doesn't co-exsist very well in PvP/RvR battles.

I may have more questions in the future, and if the feedback comes quickly Im sure they can be answered fairly fast.
I thank everyone in advance for your responces and help concerning this matter; Roleplaying.

Thanks,
Reidra Findabhair
