There is just something about UO that just isnt fun any more. IT wasnt ment to be a EQ type game. Cant put my finger on it but theres something severly wrong with the game.
Age has nothing to do with it seeing as EQ is old and still popular.
UO has its own style and I have fun every single day. Sure it is not for everyone, just as any mmorpg is not for everyone. People have been saying that UO is dying for the last 9 years. I am still playing after nearly 7 years now I love UO now, just as I have done as I started. What I like about UO is that it is evolving. Some like the changes, some not. Simple as that.

Well firstly UO hasn't been good since Trammel came to be, some hardcore players would say it's been longer than that.
Secondly UO has been around for much longer than EQ so no wonder it is less popular. Graphics dont't help it much either and no amount of updating is going to change that.
Also UO is an open ended game pretty much, and people obviously prefer a grind where they are told where to go and what to do.
It's better be hated for who you are, than loved for who you aren't.

In other words, you don't know what the hell you're talking about.

If you think people prefer a grind over being told what to do... Why do you think Eve-online is doing so well??
