Is there going to be a new Runescape? is if there is going to be a new Runescape would it be better grafics then Guildwars??????? lol

    Runescape was one of the first mmorpgs I ever played. Back then, Runescape was pretty new and the community was awesome.

    Thats the game that got me to understand the machanics of rpgs,as I was diehard fps player only...
    As much as its ugly,it might be the most complete game out there...
    Id like to see RS3 but i doubt that will be done...Those guys are Java designers..could they handle a 3d engine?I wouldnt like to see them to sell RS to another company...that wouldnt be the same then.

    It will not have better graphics then Guildwars. Why? Its ran on Java. Its basicly impossible to have great graphics with an evolving MMORPG. RuneScape sucks anyways, why bother play it? Knight Online is better then that.

    RS was my first MMO too :D

    The graphics are good for Java... but compared to other MMOs, yes it sucks lol

    I think this game was made for rather boring people, and people that are too cheap to pay a monthly price for a MMO. Needless to say, this game just sucks. :p

    i hate the way you lose your items!! if they make a #3 and it looks good and YOU DONT LOSE ITEMS WHEN DIE !! ok mayby... but if not

    Runescape was also my first MMO, and the community was great. Appart from all the 12 year old shouting
     "Omg noob! lolol" it could be a fun game to play. I would like to see a new version possibly a downloadable version rarther than just java based.

    is it really that impossible for good graphics to be ran in Java?? ever heard of L2J private servers??? Lineage 2 converted in Java.....

    Sadly, RS was not my first MMORPG, but OK.

    The graphics are terrible, and the repitition is ludacrous. However, I was addicted enough to achieve a decent rank (A friend of mine almost hit 1870 and has quit in favor of games that are less repetitive).

    As I used to tell him...

    click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click... etc. ad infinitum, ad nauseum...

    Ahh RS.. I remember when this game came out in 1998. I can't believe i wasted so many years playing that game. I really doubt if they will come out with a graphically enhanced version of it. They still get an increasing amount of people with the way the game is now.

    Runescape really got people out of their comfort zone and converted a whole bunch of people to the MMORPG style games. if it wasnt for runescape mmorpg games wouldnt be as popular as they are today.

    respect to runescape for being a very very addicting game even though there are better games out there...it gets all those little kids into the mmo type games....many of us wouldnt be here if it wasnt for runescape

    runescape was my first mmo too.

    stop playing it for more than a year now.  cause members got wayy to many stuff, its more like a p2p game now since f2p got no sh*t what so ever.

    Yea RS was my first MMO too thought after some time it got boring and anoying with the terrible comunity example:everytime u walk past someone they call u a noob but it was ok i guess i liked it before it was popular <.<
