I am not "angry" at SOE.

I simply will no longer do ANY kind of business with Sony or LucasArts.  Ever.

(Aand yes, I am familiar with all their child companies and affiliates).

    Cool, can you list them as far as which are child companies for which?  Mainly because I'm with you entirely on the Boycott of SOE, and I'm limiting my LA involvement, although I did for a while, I can't entirely abandon LA for ruining the greatest thing they ever created simply because I still enjoy most of the Star Wars stuff.  But I do severly limit purchases that are LucasArts associated.

    So you'll also boycott any movie in which ILM participated?
    All entertainment media that Sony publishes?
    All magazines in which Sony advertises?
    All magazines which advertize Sony label published products?

    You'll forego electricity of course, since Sony supplies oil, coal, nuclear and renewable power generation stations with various equipment.

     So you'll be living in dark. You won't even be able to use candles, since chemicals used in production of those are once again, tied to Sony's involvement in resource production.

    You could probably eat homegrown food, since the food you buy in store is most likely labeled using Sony's electronics (printers/printer components/chipsets).

    You also wouldn't be able to use the local water system, since Sony's subsidiaries supply control systems for such stations.

    You might find a place where this would be possible. But you won't be able to travel there by car, boat, plane or any other transportation mode, since they all contain components made by Sony.

    And once you get there, better hope you can mine ore and smelt, since you cannot buy any tools. Those are, once again, developed by machinery which in part or whole employs Sony's components.

    Scary, isn't it.

    Well, if you want to go to ridiculous extremes you could do that, sure ....

    In the meantime I'll just exercise choice where it's easy.  S.O.E. label:  no thanks.  LucasArts label:  probably not.  Sony Electronics ... not this year, and I bought a lot of electronics this year.  There's a price for leaving consumers with a bad impression of your brand -- that's it.

    I did'nt know Sony is bigger then Dow, GE, BP, Conagra, and Haliburton combined?  I don't think Sony has the market conered on all componants like you claim...
