Good to see an arrogant athlete fall on his face. This guy doesn't even understand what the word "modesty" means. His ego was so big I can't believe he managed to keep his head from falling off his torn neck.
Maybe now he'll think twice about yelling "#1! #1!" like he was God's best gift to humankind. Other people are happy when they win, but he was a mean-spirited conceited prick.
It just didn't feel nice to see him win. As a matter of fact, it was embarrassing to hear him talk about his victories.

Wow another American track athelete bites the dust, who would have ever thought. This just further supports my idea that we (US) need to just stay out of the Olympics and stick to stuff just in the US, no world championships or regular games. Quarantine the embarassment and shame inside the country instead of letting it loose on the whole world.
I understand that this isnt just a US thing, but first Marion Jones and now this guy ( in recent years anyways), its way past pathetic and sad.

Actually I kind of wish we could get over the whole Mr Mackky "drugs arrre baaaad Mmmmkay" thing.

the drug usage is nothing new. If anyone's a top pro athlete, odds are they're not doing it unaided.
This is more about the complete wrong attitude towards sportmanship. There are great US sport figures rolemodels out there, but this guy just wasn't one of them. I mean, just about every interview I've heard him in I'd lose count of the "I'm number one" or "I'm the fastest", well, yeah, we all saw that, ya know? that's why we're interviewing you! Just very arrogant.
At least he had the dencency to assume the blame and walk out like he should, I'll give him that. Nothing like a healthy serving of modesty to calm the spirits.

While I agree that these idiots should be able to do to their bodies what they want, a problem arising from that would be the kids that look to them as role models.
I say if they test positive PERMA-BAN!! That includes weed. They want the big money and the respect, then they have to start taking responsibility for their actions.
