Wrong. All you have to do is visit the official forums to know that isn't true.

Warhammer will be another game for the masses and kids, like WoW. I have no interest in it.

For me, this game has dropped from "can't wait to get it" to "if I have the time and money I'll probably get it". And it's just going to go down from there. And what is happening with beta? I signed up for it when they were taking applications, but I don't even know if it has started yet

I am the same.  I was super excited untill they pushed it back a half dozen times and then some.  This is on the far back burner right now.

Yeah, because the features of the two games are so similar, and only one game will be played by people.  This kind of statement is made so often, it cracks me up.

It makes as much sense as:  "Warhammer better release soon, because WoW:BC expansion is going to take away all those subscribers if not."

At least use a game that has some similarity when you compare, maybe if you'd said Pirate of the Carribean was coming out sooner, or something, it might have a tiny bit more chance of being feasible.

You're kidding, right?  I waited like a fool for over a year beginning in late 2004 for the "planned release" in what, summer or winter 2005, only to see that date come and go without a word and then eventually hear them switch to winter 2006, and now to summer of 2007.  I remember at the time that I wasn't even the worst, a number of people had been teased along a lot longer than I had.
The fanboys will say that they "never officially released a date", but they sure as heck never did anything to make it clear that the dates mmorpg.com was posting weren't anywhere close to correct.  The development team weren't so clueless as to not know what people were being led to believe....all it would have taken is 1 e-mail from them to correct it.
And that's not even getting into the whole handling of the beta mess.
There doesn't seem to have been much about the whole development project that is upfront, honest, or professional.  If you doubt me, just take a look at how WoW went through this whole phase, or how Vanguard/Warhammer are handling it now.  There's an entirely different feel to it (and it's simply not due to those being better financed).
Perhaps this is a little harsh, but I don't think it's unture.   And, since I feel like I've been yanked around for so long, after giving them the benifit of the doubt for so long, I feel entitled to be annoyed.  I even had to register an account after all this time just so I could rant....

aubry and the op really need to get back underground before the sun comes up and turns them to stone.  Here is a little thread of mine I posted back in december when I was curious as to when this game was going to released. It was buried a whole 4 pages beneath this thread. Amazing what you can find when you actually open the book rather than sniffing the cover and wondering if it's something to eat.

Rather than going snarge grumble og og burp I asked an honest question. And lo and behold got an honest answer from Aether the Community Envoy for Pirates. Amazing how that works. Hopefully in this post I have demostrated the difference between two professional and mature people having a conversation and two trolls farting at eachother.

No, I'm not kidding.  I stated my experience it is based on my opinion with other MMOs.  I'm sorry you don't feel like your experience with them was the same, but I 'veseen more responses from them in this one game than all the other MMOs I have played combined.

What mess is that? That you wanted a beta invite and didn't get one?

They've been in closed beta since december and they have lots more applicants than they need testers. Q'uelle suprise! They've been adding testers almost weekly as THEY NEED IT, not as we want it.

To the OP and every whinging 12 year old.

    Have you paid FLS money?
Did you enter some contract with them regarding the release?

What's that? I hear you say no? Then stfu and either play the game when it's released or don't. No dev house owes you anything prior to release so stop whinging like little children and play what's available now.

What is this??? There are some morons here that try to terrorise all the rest. How else can I refer to those shouting Troll here, Troll there, when other people try expressing their disappointment to something.
Aubrey says basically 2 things: one is that the game is delayed more than some of us can accept. This is a reality. We have been told about several release dates in the past as I am able to remember. All these are broken promises, or if you want to be more accurate more "unofficial" promises. And it's very easy for a company to either confirm or deny unofficial rumours.

As for the second, I don't believe there is any beta mess. They asked for testers, they get them on demand and that's it.

Warhammer is not going to be new WoW.

In Warhammer there is serious PvP and because of that there is older players too.

I think younger players stay in WoW and "older" plays Warhammer.

Mu opinion is that DAoC is bet mmorpg at the moment and Mythicc is doing more better with Warhammer i believe.

No it wasn't suppose to be winter 2006, that's when people guessed it was coming out. And POTC is just a wanna be. That game will have the amount of depth that a drop of water will have.

SWG- Left after they ruined it
    WoW- Left after 2 years
    EVE- Left after three days
Pirates of the Burning Sea will be the cure to my cancer.
