UnealTournament 2004

I usually play Instagib [ one hit kills ] on unreal tournament 2003 but I played the demo for UT 2004 with regular weapons and the new vehicles and it is pretty sweet...lets just say the demo is better than halo's multiplayer... THE DEMO! Battlefield 1942 is a blast too. Most multiplayer FPSs are dying because of lack of players [like the Tribes series and Unreal II's multiplayer mode] so be prepared to only play single player for many FPSs. Unreal Tournament 2004 is coming in mid March but the demo can be found here

Planet side is ok, but it is laggy, costs money, low on players, ect.

The ironic thing is that i am installing bf1942 right now and patching it up....Is the multiplayer fun?

It is only the multiplayer that is really fun since the AI in single is so stupid. The Multiplayer is pure arcady fun, with tons of weapons and vehicles. Not too much strategy tho, since the maps are huge and there are too many players in public servers to create any big plans, just shot everything that moves. Clan matches are alot more fun though, 5v5 games take alot of skill. Be sure to get the expansions ASAP.

Play Onslaught mode first. Thats the mode that is better than Halo MP. Also, play in a 24 player server, get your MIC set, press F to talk to your team [yes you can talk to your team without Ventrillo or teamspeak. Integated speak client!], press T to type, press enter to get into vehicles. HAVE FUNNNN!

The PK demo is pretty demanding. It is somewheres 3/4 a gig in size and 384 RAM required to play it. Take note that most current MMORPGs only require 128 or 256 RAM.

you can even attach mobs to the walls with these stakes but you need to make them fly high first.
