Why do timber/ddev/KidWicked/lysanding/"alltherest" alter egos of egomancer or just mindless drones of ToC keep pomoting their game and bashing DFO?

The thought that strikes me first is lack of confidence for their own game, seeing as someone whom have confidence enough does not go off bashing different aspects which they haven't presented to be even near equivalent or possessing themself at all.

To me it seems like their mindset is rather distorted or just acting out in obsessive desperation.

    Can you provide 'proof' of this? An address of IIRL's 'corporate links' to the Darkfall dev team? Pictures of him and the DFO crew,hanging back and working hard? Internet chat copy & pastes? Phone calls?

    Flame this and you only flame your own logic,ddev. You've passed into the realm of the ridiculous I am afraid. I suppose you'll accuse me next.  Post-DnL paranoia has gripped you tightly.

    On-topic; I wouldn't mind the 'ToC' followers if only they provided decent criticism.

    Only, this is not logic nor is it conversation. I've got so much proof of him being in the payroll lists of them as much as he claims I and a bunch of people are Evangelists of a game That I have not even heard of, and not only that, but I have made this clear from the very first.

    I was thinking it is because they blame us for ROT's failure. I was wondering if some of these guys might be that insane publisher "Dave The Man" who pretty much alienated the community. I think guys like this are trying to take revenge on Darkfall because they feel the Darkfall community attacked the integrity of ROT.

    how the hell would darkfall be the blame for anyones failure???  its not like it actually launched and is taking anyones paying players away. What are you? some kind of an idiot?

    if any dev would be posting anything about darkfall it would be an age of conan dev since it was already proven 100% by funcom themsleves that one of their devs was over there making fun of darkfall on the official boards. 

    I say give the man an award for pointing out the obvious publically. just shows you what everyone from other game companies really think about DF behind closed doors.

    your too blind to even see decent critism. If you had any brains what so ever you wouldnt even be following this 6 year old played out project that hasn't released  a single concrete thing to back up anything they've been saying over the last 6 years.

    I have yet to see said post,but going around and criticising other games (and then a swift apology= seems an admission of guilt) on their forums smacks of stupidity/unprofessional as a dev. If you don't like Darkfall you're entitled to that opinion.

    But you don't go round mocking the game on their forums and then being revealed as an AoC dev. People think; "Wow aren't these devs a bunch of immature smackheads?" These are what those people may think.

    Recently Tasos (developer) has posted twice in the Darkfall News forums,stating they are in essence 'back to work' after rotating vacational shifts (http://forums.darkfallonline.com/showthread.php?t=25094) and the announcement of the Womengamers.com interview (http://forums.darkfallonline.com/showthread.php?t=25195) of Darkfall. So perhaps there is a sign that the developers are upping their PR drive; perhaps for the 'beta' end of this year?

    We can only hope. Here's hoping you'll be proven wrong KidWicked in time.
