Looking for some help from people on the game population plz

in Final Fantasy XI
I played this game a while back got alot of stuff done had a few jobs as 75. Can't find anything as a good and hard as this but i don't want to come back to the game unless there is still a good amount of population on the game. If people still playing the game or just starting out could respod to this let me know how the population on the servers is and if there are still people at the lower lvls.

    Yep I had a 65 blm and am in the same position. Played many other mmos but nothing seems to compare. How is the community? Is there still a good flow of noobs coming in?

    also can anyone recommend a server? Any new ones open up over the past year?

    I started FFXI about a month ago. I have 3 characters all around lvl 15 now. I have yet to find a group. I can count the number of times Ive been spoken to or responded to on one hand. Maybe its my server. Maybe I fell into the only server with no noobs or english speakers. I have yet to figure out what ^^ means, but that seems to be the only response i get.

    If anyone plays on a server with an active english speaking noob population I would appreciate a worldpass or something. I do not want to quit the game but  the way things are going for me now its seems Im heading that way.

    I just started playing FFXI again after quiting for about a year and a half.  I also felt like there are no other mmorpgs out there that can compare to FFXI.  The server that I joined has usually around 2500-3000+ ppl on during prime time( like weekends and after school and work during the weekdays).  During non-prime times the server usually has around 1750-2250 ppl on the server.  The least amount of ppl that I have seen on the server so far is around 1500 ppl.  Most of the ppl that I have come in contact with have been very friendly and yes actually speak english.  I'm only lvl 10 and already someone was nice enough to invite me into their linkshell.  I'm on Remora, if anyone would like a World Pass I would be happy to give you one, just e-mail me at cpumcushi2@gmail.com.

    I'm playing on Lakshmi, and there's plenty of people on. At prime times, 2500-4000. The least Iv'e seen on is around 1500, but that was right after a patch.  There's alwyas parties in the dunes, and at low levels I get lots of invites, whether it be on my WHM or my SAM. I also get invites on my higher level characters. It may just be your server that has a paticular low population Voodoo, but there's plenty of parties and low levels on my server. If you'd like a world pass, I could get you one.
