best mage 2nd profession?

I just want to hear from the experts on what the best mage 2nd profession is.  I was thinking along the lines of a cleric, so far i think  that is the best.  Please tell me what u think the best mage profession is and why.

well it all really depends what u like to do...would you rather fight 1 on 1 with stronger monsters, kill off hordes , or enjoy skills that boost stats/heal? check out the 2nd job skills and just go with what u like

To tell u the truth it DOES NOT depend on wat u like.. in simply depends on how high a lvl u think u will make it in the game.. Many ppl find clerics borin at low lvls, but at high lvls (like in 3rd job) everybody wants to party with them. You will get tonnes of xp especially in zakuum parties.. If you dont plan on reaching a high lvl u can either go fire mage or ice mage.. Go fire mage for more damage, but ice mage for the mob skill.. Thats basically it.

so pryceless u r saying u play the game to get to a high level but with a charc u dnt enjoy using...

I found every other charc boring till i became a bandit im leveling faster so it depends on which charc will have the most fun with...

right im going to level adios. [39 since yesterday, nerli 41 today shud do it]

well... ill say the ice/lightning is the best 2nd proffesion.... they do ok dmg.. they can freeze... kill multiple mobs... they lvl fast at lorangs and red drakes.. wich also have awsome drops ( a chance 2 get rich there )

but u decide :P take what ever u like.. this is just my oppinion

well if you wanna have fun you gotta decide what you like more.

fire/poison is for people who wanna do that 1k dmg very soon so basicaly f/p is a powerhouse.

ice/lightning is for players who enjoy killing lots of monsters at once and getting craploads of exp while theyre at it (my favorite)

clerics are for supporting people and people who like to heal themselves and kill monsters all at once.

Ok, rant time!

There is really no best, but if you want one with an advantage over another.....

Power for 2nd job: Fire Wizard. Period. They have a 120 base attack spell and Nath becomes their little playground. Only problem is, no mob skill in 2nd job

Power for 3rd job: Priests and ice mages do well because of their defensive capabilities while fire suffers ;_;  

Defense for 2nd job: Cleric, definitely, you'll fall in LOVE with invincible, I, a Fire Mage, am jealous of invincible! I ADMIT IT!

defence for 3rd job: AGAIN Priests. At max, elemental resist -70% of ALL(read it peeps)ALL element based MAGIC damage. unlike ice's ice/lightning resist and fire's fire/poison resist. *wants this abit more than invincible*

Partying: People eat priests and clerics up but my brother is a solo priest so he doesn't party people. if you want to be rarely partied because people think you're useless when you're a walking power house go fire. for the middle, go ice.

Money wise:  Ask any fire mage, we're a poor kind sadly    Although the other mages can dip there they mostly stay up money-ing. A cleric needs only MP pots except at places where you can get caught on ropes or stunned.

Effects:

Clerics-heal and have mob skill on some things, best defence wise

Ice-freeze and get mob skill

Fire- pure power house, poison, noo mob skill until 3rd job

Overall:

if you like people go cleric

if you are in the middle go ice

if ya don't go fire
