No free trial yet?

Would like to try SWG but I am not gonna waste $50.00 on something I might not like. Is there any free trial and if there isn't are they planning on making one soon?

There is no free trial as of yet and I have no clue if they are planning on making one.  It could be a very long time until they do so I would just make a decision on the game.  In my opinion, it's not worth it but of course it is up to you.

They haven't even lowered the prices despite sale drops.  One of my Youth volunteers works for Electronics Beautique in Memphis and he mentioned that they used to sell SWG around 6 times a week. Now, they have had the same three copies sitting on their shelves since December and have issued a stop-order on the game until they sell all three.

Usually you see a price drop before a free trail but SOE seems like a company where they feel that they would be "weak" for offering such an offer

Has SOE ever offered a free trial for any game?  I don't think so but I might be wrong.

SWG is a MMORPG.

When you buy ANY computer game it costs roughly $50.oo.

With a MMORPG you also have to pay a monthly subscription. SWG comes with 1 FREE month.

If you do not like the game, you simply cancel your subscription.

Same if you were to play EQ, AC, DAoC, AO, etc..... all have free trial periods/have had free trial periods.

They were offering a buddy key program back in January, I don't know if it's still available though . all you needed was a friend with the game and you could have tried it.
