Population balance ratio?

I resubbed in May or June and the population on Gareth was enough to get things done, depending on the Realm/Alliance/Guild you joined. Then if you used 100 as your total, I estimate the ratio of Hib/Alb/Mid to be something like 40:40:20

What would you say the ratio is now? What is the population like on Gareth? Thanks.

Currently I would guestimate the population ratio on Gareth that are 50 or out in NF frequently to be around 45/30/25 Hib/Mid/Alb.  Though If you were starting a new character there's a big difference, about 45/40/25 Hib/Mid/Alb. Vale of Mularn, Svaeland, and Gotar are always packed with people (levels 1-30).  This is always full too.

Wow, things have changed a lot in population balances since I have been gone. I remember Albs being more populated at lower levels, because of the attractiveness of the races, classes, and land. Hibs was next and Midgard was just sad. Maybe the kids have gotten bored with Alb and left, leaving a more peaceful land for me to level up in?

I'm still debating on whether or not to come back. First, there's the choice of which realm to join, which is based on the realm population at all levels. Second, you have the choice of class, which at this point I just want a class that can level fast and PvP good. Third, I have to be sure that this game is even worth subscribing to anymore, which depends on whether or not there are enough people left to make it fun. If I have a hard time finding help for my epic quests or my champion levels, than I am just wasting my time, since that is the gear I want for PvP for now.

I don't know. I am playing SWG now and the sub runs out in a few days. The game was really fun when I came back a month ago, but it quickly faded to "fun in small doses." But it is Star Wars, which is my favorite IP, so i am not sure if I will quit it. However, I thought about playing both DAoC and SWG, but like I said, I need to make sure DAoC is still worth the monthly fee. I played it for 4yrs off and on and my favorite times was grouping in Salisbury Plains. Now everyone is in a rush to 50 and only does the boring ass TD's. Although, they aren't so bad either if you find a group, but that's the trick. The community is different now. Before, people wanted to group, but now people would rather solo. Granted these have work arounds by joining a solid guild, but how many of those exists anymore.

Anyways, I'll wait to hear from you all some more, before I resub. I will also check the herald to see what the population is like during my play time.

I do not know the percentages, but it was said a few months back that Hib was NOT the most populated realm on Gareth.  This makes me think it is Alb.  So I would say based on that 40/35/25 A/H/M

I guess Alb just needs some good RvR leaders, because they are still getting tore up like always. However, it don't look like they are doing as bad as Mids, which is good.
