Howdy, Stranger!

It looks like you're new here. If you want to get involved, click one of these buttons!

I like PvP but you have to admit this is a joke & just a lame eternal skirmish mode of a game.

For those of you who care about things like Innate armor or what ever. Who Cares!

No wonder this games keeps lagging on, people actualy talk about armor for a snuggler like it's is a big deal, sure they have armor so what.

If you want PvP why not play games like Unreal tournament?

I mean PvP is fine in SWG to have but it is not what it is about. Not in some high amount of carring about stats on some armor.

All that is left must be people who only care about logging in their level 90 and running around back and forth over and over same thing and for what, is that what you guys want? That's it?

That is sad really that these devs are nothing but lame you shhot me i shoot you so called PvP makers.

I like PvP but you have to admit it is a joke.

When I 1st started play and that was after the NGE, I was hopping to be in an adventure in the SW univerce and also get into a big war but this was just a lame eternal skirmish mode of a game.

Please say that what you're upset about is not:
    - Too much reading about stats
    - Too many numbers

    Please...

Sadly most people logging in today is PvP'ers. And after a little boost in population after the restuss event and becouse of summer break. Now the servers are more empty than they have ever been. On Bria its the same 10-20 peeps in Restuss playing ganksquad and in Mos Eisley its tha same few entertainers and vendor spammers. I see very few new people if any(most are probably peeps from other servers rolling a new toon).
Same goes for Ahazi and Chimeara the other two servers i play on.
There is no smuggler system of expertise system thats gonna save this game. Only thing to do now is to put up some classic servers and start kissing up to the vets.
Gloryfied deliver missions, bah. Ill take slicing. spices and feign death any day over that.
    Its over....

I do not mind it in a game, but it just sucks soooo bad in SWG, I figure why?

I tried soooo hard to like this game, but some one needs to go into the devs office and smack them hard.

Wait till October. That's when schools come out in full force.
And then November, when jobs enter the rush mode before December holidays.

I'm saying I see some people even care about the stats of things that have to do with the SWG PvP and I'm thinking, who cares when it is so lame anyways. And why do they keep trying?

IMO the same people wopuld lover OTHER games like those war games maybe.

SW is about the advnture anyways and stories and not running in circles and not doing lame missions alone and they do not even have to do with the story line, just go from when end to the other.

Dam it even the so call smuggling mission that one dude gives you who know Han solo is nothing close to smuggling except the word smuggle is in the mission story line and that's it.

What what is going to happen? A bunch of poor unsuspecting people are going to screw up and play SWG thinking it is anyhting good at all?

They will either push them selves to try to like it or just get sick of it finaly.

If you took the time to understand the stats, you probably wouldn't have died so much in PvP (or PvE)... ;)

Oh stop it, like I care if I ever died. The game and its PvP really does suck and I wish they did not waist time on their so call NPC bases too, you know they are lame, didn't you wish they were fun at all?

I knew they were going to suck too, I tried to tall them to make them big and interesting and tactical, but you think they would even try to actualy make something good? Nope, they just made them so they could say they had them in their description on the web site and that's about it.

Numbers like this are the core of what is today classified under RPG. I'm sorry you expect something else, but this generation is based around numbers. WoW is a good example. GW is extremly number oriented, where +/-1 makes a difference, and is pvp oriented.

As for everything else, your expectations are a bit off mark.

Yes, pvp is lame. Stand in line, we have hourly sessions of complaints about lameness of the system. But it's not because of numbers.

A major reason why people do nothing but talk about stats, is because they are the ONLY goal left in game. once you complete the static quests, the only thing you can work towards are the numbers, trying to push them as high as possible.

Bases, lame, storyline, lame, smuggling, to-be-lame.

But unfortunately, this lameness, while not the epic storyline you desire, cannot exist on the scope of ever popular KOTOR. SOE's greatest mistake was to throw away an MMORPG that worked (bugged) for a KOTOR storyline wannabe concept.

Do not expect MMOs to play like single players games. This will cause huge disapointment in any game. Play it for what it is. And decide upon that. MMORPGs will, in the foreseable future, be what they are. Not because companies and developers are incompetent and cheap, but due to heavy resource, design and physical constraints (yes, speed of light is huge barrier to MMO pvp - I'm serious).

SWG is poor implementation, everyone agrees upon that. But certain concepts cannot be changed, despite best attempts.
