Oblivion-Joining a guild?

Ok so how do you join a guild in this game? The only guild I know how to join is the dark brotherhood guild. But I want to try and find others. Where are they? The guards keep saying there are no guilds inside the city.

If I remember correctly, in the area where the piers are, there are some shacks, If you come to those shacks between midnight and 6am, there will be 3 NPCs there and one of them will invite you into the theives guild. You might need to get friendly with him or whatever.

Fighters' and Mages' guilds have buildings in all the other cities, I'm pretty sure you can join up at any one of them. To join the Thieves guild talk to beggars in the Imperial city - use bribes/speechcraft to get them to open up.

Also for theives guild steal somthing and get caught for it lol and then go to sleep. A dark elf will visit you (she scared the crap out of me) and she will give you an invite to the theives guild.

   Yeah, I know about the Fighter's Guild, Mage's Guild, Thieve's Guild(Didn't know about the Dark Elf visiting you, though...), and the Dark Brotherhood, but... I was wondering... Is it possible to join the Blackwood Company, or whatever it's called? You know, it's in that town that starts with an "L" that I'm not even going to try and spell because it's a crazy name... Anyway, I talked to everyone in there, and nobody had the option, so I looked around, but... I mean, I even stole the key and went into the top room, but, nope, nobody. ,Is there a different office somewhere?

   Also, I found this building near a town. Cheydinnhal,(sp?) I think... Anyway, it was the head of some organization, but I was on a mission, so I didn't stop... Anyway, I was wondering if there were any other organizations you could join?
