That sucks. I downloaded CoH when it was first released and didn't have that problem, but it sounds like another reason to add to the list to buy the boxed set instead. I hope they clear it up for you.
I updated my main account for billing with a new credit card and have had my account active with the current biliing information for about 3-4 months now. The odd thing is I am unable to gain access to my account inorder to manage it.
When requesting new password/etc info I get an email with a new password but it's invalid. I get error messages when attempting anything to log into the master account for billing. I can play the game and I get billed but no longer have any access to manage my account.
Corrospondence with PlayNC regarding their billing gets a nice request for the lat 4 numbers on the original credit card used to activate the master account. Well, that was 3 years ago and that card is long expired. Apparently the card I used recently to reactivate the account isn't good enough.
Talk about a headache!
My current position is I was going to pay for 6 months instead of monthly and I'm not able to. I'm being forced to pay monthly without any means to manage my account other then to report the transaction as fraud through my bank, which I don't want to do.
I had the same problem when I was first playing CoH. I used a game time card. Then when it ran out I switched to a Credit card. The problem is my Password became invalid and I could never get it to work agian. I lost my first charecter, which happend to be my best. He was levl 24 at the time. Which albeit isnt that high was painful to lose since that was the highest id ever been. In anycase no probs now. Sigh I still miss my first charecter..
