You'll be disappointed after you play SWG.

    Sorry, couldn't resist...

I have no idea as to the answer to your question.

     Aussie Aussie! image

Yes Australians can play SWG without lag being such a problem making the game unplayable. There are brand new European servers which are a much closer location to Australia than America. Which would make it even easier for you to play and have fun.

If SWG is not yet for sale to you Aussies (I've heard everything takes 1 year to get from America to Australia - copyright agreements tying everything up, etc...) then you can order it from Amazon.com or other game sites. Or even major stores that have websites. Or from any American or European friends.

BTW, the above negative posting posters have one or all of the following describing them:

     1. Never ever played SWG.

     2. Have not played SWG recently in the past 1-2 months. It IS a MMORPG. All MMORPGs constantly change unlike a RPG. SWG has radically changed from how it was in beta, and how it was at release, and how it was 2+ months ago.

     3. Never explored the entire game, or ALL of the features SWG has. Never made any attempts to check out ALL the features SWG has.

     4. Simply do not like SWG, and refuse to move on to another MMORPG and let SWG continue its success. They instead spam the SWG forms attempting to bash it over and over and over. With either false information, outdated information, or no information.... like saying "SWG sucks!" then not posting why lol.

     5. And many of them are not use to the TONS of new ideas and experiments in SWG. Single Character Servers, it being a 100% skill based game, the idea that a character is not forever stuck with whatever career choices are made, that combat is not the only part of the game, that PvP is intense on the unofficial PvP servers (kill and be killed absolutly anywhere in the entire game heheh.), and much, much, more.

See how it is for yourself. The intended target market is Star Wars fans who have never played a MMORPG before. If you're one or both you have the best chance of liking it. If you like skill based games like UO, AC, and even AO, you also have a nice chance of liking it. If you enjoy the idea of trying something different from everything else out there you also have a chance of liking it.

     Have fun!

    I played it

I played it until the very end December.  I think i still have somewhat of a valid voice since then

     3. Never explored the entire game, or ALL of the features SWG has. Never made any attempts to check out ALL the features SWG has.

I explored virtually every aspect of the game.  Played almost all professions, visited every planet, did virtually every quest, even roleplayed.  I think I can say that I have tried virtually every piece of content the game had up until December.  Besides, one doesnt have to have played 100% of all available content to make an opinion.

     4. Simply do not like SWG, and refuse to move on to another MMORPG and let SWG continue its success. They instead spam the SWG forms attempting to bash it over and over and over. I tell my side of why I dont like SWG.  Just as much as you talk about how you like, I will talk about how much I dislike it.  Plus, its fun seeing you get all riled up image.  Plus, I think im pretty good of why I give my reasons why I dont think the game is the brightest tool in the mmorpg shed.

I am completley for new ideas and experiments.  Heck Im even for bugs and lag as long as there is communication from the sides of the Developers.  Also, I am into a 100% skill based game as I am currently involved in EVE online.  Plus, I have to disagree with you about the PvP being intense because it simply isnt image

Couldnt agree more.  If you like it, play it and enjoy

     Have fun!
