ok...
i think its all wrong guildies charging other guildies for UBAH items //spells ...no matter what amount...
to me the whole idea of being in a guild is for reasons like this even if the player looted this on a raid....
comments and abuse welcome...

I don't expect freebies from guildies. I expect fair prices and a higher priority to buy than some random fool.
Expecting things to be free or discounted at cost is unrealistic and unfair.
Back when I played SWG, I was a medic, and smuggler. I used to enhance weapons, and heal. The non-guilded folks always tipped me a nice amount when I helped them.
Can't say the same for guilded folk. They almost never tipped or paid for anything I did for them. They were also pushy and rude.
Yeah, the guilds all say that you can tell them when there is a problem. Still never helped anything when someone stiffed me or was rude. They'll hear your complaint, and then work to subvert the complainer. In fact, a couple times I heard second hand from other folks, "you seem like an alright guy, not like what <insert guild name here> says about you."
If I had a choice between playing on a server of 3,000 non-guilded players, or a server where 3,000 players were in guilds, I'd choose the non-guilded players hands down. People just seem a whole lot more friendly, and are a whole lot more fun when they aren't tagged.

Actually I think it boils down to the guild and you. The guild for not being clear enough in the distribution system. You for not understanding clearly what the guild policy is, and stay in the guild even though you dont like it.
Like when I was playing WoW, I was an enchanter. Non guild people tips me even when they provide the mats. Guildies? Bah.. they expect free enchants and even when they provide mats, no tips are given. It's cool with me since guildies are supposed to help each other... but nobody helped me gain skill in echnating or etc.
Still, it was partly my fault for not bitching more (lol) or even join another guild.
When i played SWG one of my characters for a Master Weaponsmith. IF a guildie or friend wanted an uber weapons i would gladly make it. For what the components cost me or there fair market value. Even if i hunted down the dragon's or Gorax on my own, there is a market value. Now if the person was rude or impatient they never got another thing from me, or if they changed professions weekly and wanted a double capped weapon also weekly that wouldnt happen. Funny thing how people didnt realize resources werent unlimited, heh. THis of course also changed when it was for a good friend, then i pretty much gave it all away

This is what realism in games is all about. When you can't automatically trust or not trust someone, then you have ambiguity. When you can't afford to do nothing in the face of ambiguity, then you have a game.
It's much more profitable to deal with a professional than a volunteer. The pro just does a better job, put out a better quality service, and is available more often. And with the volunteer.. well you alway get what you pay for, and in some form or fashion you always end up paying for what you get. With the volunteer you've got to entertain them, or cajole them, or just be a constant source of energy for them.
What you have to realize when dealing with mercenaries is that you've got to realize what you're bringing to the show. You've got to learn to cover your own !%$ and remember to always pay yourself first. You've got to realize what service(s) you can provide to other business partners and bill accordingly, and encourage others to do the same.
If you are simply not on the same tier as those persons, or can offer them nothing, then maybe you should look to deal with persons in your social or economic class and rise more slowly, but with a sound footing.
Until you put enough time in the guild, and are likewise able to make a serious contribution to the guild by time and effort...then yes, by all means, you should be charged something for the items. Especially if they are "ubah" like you said. Otherwise, you're just a leetch.
