Oh yea..., I know. The bible. The book that has been rewritten millions of times for Kings and Emperors so they'll be pleased. Do you honestly think you're reading the real scriptures written? You're reading what a man paid at a high salary tells you read and to take in as the truth. We'll never find truth in todays world.
Yeah, you're right. Julius Caesar, Alexander the Great, Joan of Arc, Charlemagne...none of them existed. All those god damned old documents can't be trusted.
Well, actualy, the Bible was assembled from old writings that variouse church leaders from around the land had... bits and peices. It was during the time of the Emperor Constantine that ordered the creation of ONE TRUE BIBLE ... read about the Nicean council during the early 300s C.E. (comon era) . It was voted about what stories stayed and what stories were kicked. All for politcal reasons and because EMPEROR OF ROME PROMISED TO STOP KILLING CHRISTIANS THAT AGREE TO FOLLOW THIS ONE ACCEPTED WAY OF CHRISTIANITY.... hello to Roman Catholocism.... hello to warped and twisted ideas of what Christ actualy did and who he was..... I was a Christian but I asked too many questions, sorry I but I have a brain to use and think with, Thank you to my creator for that !
The world needs people like this, who have an open mind, who will state is opinions and facts without insulting anyone.
I think it's the objective of your past self to make you cringe.
Y wouldnt you like Jesus, hes the Ultimate dude! He's God! and comes to earth! and gives his ultimate wisdom! and dies for us! were not worthy of that!

So ! GO JESUS
Personally, Id probably like the dude. If a grain of the story is true, he still had a message of peace that is needed these days. Whether anything else is true or not... its impossible to tell now. Much has been lost, and the rest has been deliberately changed by men in search of power.

Jimmy, romans were crazy about their records, everything was recorded, in fact, every last idea any thinker ever made was written down and was placed in a huge library (not aAexandria, another). This library suffered much the fate of Alexandria though, and amongst the greatest loses were plans for several very advanced machines.
Well good for them.
Now its a fact, verified, confirmed, and everythign else that Jesus, was in fact, a real person. As many have said, anything beyond that is yours to dispute.
Since they were so anal about record keeping AND you seem to be intimately farmiliar with these records, please give me a link to the document(s) that support the exsistance of Jesus. Please make sure that your link includes Where and how the documents were found as well as who found said documents and where the actual documents are being held.
If you have any real evidence, I'll gladly look at it. So far, no one has given me one iota of supporting evidence that Jesus ever was.

Please provide me and everyone else many links that state Jesus wasn't real and just a figment of everyone's imagination. I'd also like records of Saint Nicholas (Santa Clause) showing he wasn't a real person, Saint Mary, and all the other people who "are made up".
Please provide me links and other said documents and where they actual decuments are being held.

The most detailed accounts of Jesus' birth are contained in the Gospel of Matthew (probably written between 65 and 90 AD)[5] and the Gospel of Luke (probably written between 65 and 100 AD).[6] There is considerable debate about the details of Jesus' birth among even Christian scholars, and few scholars claim to know precisely either the year or the date of his birth or of his death.
The nativity accounts in Matthew and Luke do not mention a date or time of year for the birth of Jesus. It has been traditionally celebrated in the liturgical season of Christmastide as Christmas on 25 December, a date that can be traced as early as 330 among Roman Christians. Before then, Jesus' birth was generally celebrated on January 6 as part of the feast of Theophany,[7] also known as Epiphany, which commemorated not only Jesus' birth but also his baptism by John in the Jordan River and possibly additional events in Jesus' life. Many scholars note that the account in Luke of the shepherds' activities suggest a spring or summer date for Jesus' birth.[8] Scholars speculate that the date of the celebration was moved in an attempt to replace the Roman festival of Saturnalia (or more specifically, the birthday of the God Sol Invictus).

This is a prime example of a classic informal fallacy. it is claimed that a premise is true only because it has not been proven false. New flash: you cannot logically prove a negative. I can't prove that Jesus didn't exsist, but I can place a large shadow of a doubt that he did exsist.
if a certain event had occurred, evidence of it could be discovered by qualified investigators.
In such circumstances it is perfectly reasonable to take the absence of proof of its occurrence despite searching, as positive evidence towards its non-occurrence.
Since no one has given me supporting, extrabiblical, evidence that Jesus ever was, I'm going to treat Christianity as pure mythology. You are free to believe what you will, but believing doesn't make it so.

And you've given us not proof either. So no one really has any say on anything. So everything from ghost, UFOs, God, god(s), demons, angels, whatever you think are all fake because they don't have proof they are real.
It's okay. You don't believe, why are you getting your panties in a bunch? It's okay that I and half the world believe in something other then YOU. It's OKAY. Everything will be alright, I promiss you... oh wait, there's no proof, so you can't believe. Gotcha.
Actually, I did give you a nice big document that outlined my arguement and provided sources. That same document also discusses the origins of all the books of the bible and provides valid arguements to their validity.
You seem to be getting much more bent out of shape than I am. Again, you are free to believe what you want, but believing something doesn't make it so.
BTW, Christianity is only about 33% of the world population. That means that 67%, OVER HALF OF HUMANITY, remains unconvinced. Of course, that would be arguementum ad populum. A fallacy that concludes a proposition is true because many or all people believe it.
If you're going to debate me, try to avoid logical fallacies. Thank you.

What about all the other religions? Are those are fairy tales and make believe too? By the way you're thinking, you think everyone's full of hot air and has smoke blown up their ass.
My point is that I don't care what Jesus supposedly said because he occupies the same space as Santa Clause and the Easter Bunny in my world view.
You were the one that felt compelled to "correct" me. I had said my piece and given good reasons for my views. I was actually hoping that you had something real to contribute to this discussion. I was wrong.

jesus is as real as purple dinosaurs.and satan and the easter bunny
In the end there can be only one. (highlander)
but santa was based on a real man

Satan is a man in texas.
Ever spray-painted a dinosaur or poisoned one with cyanide?
Crucify a bunny to get an easter bunny.
As for Jesus, he's busy in my garden right now.
