Hang on ... your not Vacillis, the player who threw a hissy fit because you asked if there was plans for eve to be made for the PS3 .. ehih lead a lot of people saying no or they hoped not then after someone said they thought the PS3 sucked.. you went off on one flaming everyone. After they had thought it had turned into a joke thread due to the "it does, it does not, it does" tennnis argument... Then post in a seperate thread of how eve sucked and the community was childish, then flamed everyone who had said the the PS3 sucked. Then you changed your leaving post to you wasn't leaving, then you changed it again to you was as well as calling everyone retards and finally then before it was locked you changed to that you rest your case.. flamed another player. To sum it up you quit because people said your idea of eve on the PS3 was a bad one and someone said the PS3 sucked.. and you complain about the maturity of the people who play eve.
well there ya go, your not as clever as you think you are. i am not vacillis, but i did agree with a lot of what he said.
Originally posted by Drej_X_Army Well none of it is a load of crap and maturity is hard to even have at all anymore. Its hard to get on the forums, have a good conversation without some annoying little twit sticking his nose in and adding idiotic comments that had nothing to do with the thread. I will keep my maturity as long as I can, but when people post such stupid threads, especially ones that have more to the story then what the guy is telling us, its just down right hard not to sit there and type inmature things to the idiot. As for consoles, I really prefer Computers, more games, better graphics, etc. IF your a console fan, WOOT, if not, WOOT. But this thread was about some idiot quitting, just because of a sound bug. Annoying, YES, quitting over it, NO. And to post that you quit cause of it, calls for the most inmature things I can think of. If your leaving the game, then leave, dont tell us. If you got problems, hadnle it the right way first, then come to forums to ask advice. But never ever come to the forums, post that your quitting cause you keep breaking your nail on the enter key.
whos the annoying little twit????
the bit i didnt beleive about your original post was the 1,000,000 dollars bit. if you could get paid that much, then why the hell are you sitting in front of a pc all night playing eve? seems like a bit of a waste to me. get out a bit more. it might do you good.
I would love to go and make that nice cool Million dollar pay, but its overseas, Africa of all things. White guy from America in Africa. Chances are, I will have troubles. Sure I could trust my own military skills to keep me alive, but without friends over there, no one to watch my back. I do have ideas of how to protect myself, but it can be a hassle. The jobs are there, I would LOVE them, but with all this BS over where I am from, can end my life and thats what I am not willing to risk at any cost.
I will back Drej up on this some what, Telecommunications in US Army, 25F for anyonewho cares to look it up, Should be at least, was 31F when I was in 2000-2004 and was changed identifier after I left, i've gotten several 300k-500k a year job offers, most are in places and time periods that just aren't worth it. Going to Iraq as a Civilian for 4 years straight isn't nessicarily the best way to make 2 million for your family cause you got offed in a ambush isn't some peoples idea of a good time.

fair play to you.
sorry if i was a bit of an arsehole earlier, had a lot of bad shit going down lately.
Hey Nicoli, I was a 13B and 13M, for you civilians. 13 series is artillery, B is Cannons, M is Multi Launch Rocket System (MLRS). Spent 4 years sitting back, behind a computer, in a soap box tank, pushing a button, launching my ammo. Never having to see my enemy or the people that I am supposely killing. But I have a skin disorder, cannot get the small pox vaccine, so I cant get deployed. Bummer for me, lost over 50 buddies over there. Tried my hardest to go. But due to my hard work and determination, I am 20% disabled from bad knees and now I can never get deployed. But hopefully the guys I was training survived. US Coast Guard, I did Law Enforcement. Was on duty in Chicago when 9/11 happened. I can still remember the feeling when the F-16 gave a fly by over Chicago, to let people know that they had protection and the US Military was there. Goose bumps still roll up and down my spine.

One of the better moments for me was when I was in Weisbaden over the few days after 9/11. Got serious support from the german civilians, I pulled 48 hours of guard duty doing roving guard, every time we passed by the main gate there were more and more candles and flowers every time we passed by from the Germans. Sad to see that respect dissappearing.
Did some work with 3/29th FA my self in my deployment in Iraq. You know 2 paladins with barrels punched through a wall of a house firing blanks has a nice effect on a house.
Yeah, I knew that all the patriotism would die off. America has really lost touch. There are now way to many, self centered, selfish, greedy people. Alot of it has to deal with the politicans giving in to Human Rights Activists. The Justice system sucks now cause of it. One reason I dont vote anymore. Not one politican in the USA will ever side for the good of people, they will only side with the person putting money in their pocket. SO our streets will be full of criminals, anyone that breaks a law will get a slap on the hand, all death row inmates will live longer and eat all the tax money. Education funds will go to politican salary. List goes on.
But I found their customer service to be absolutely impeccable...'cause I never had any problems to start with and in my book that means everything!
I did have one minor problem once...I got stuck in one of the 'hallways' leading out of a space station, but I simply logged and it was fixed.
But because I really don't like EVE Online I would suggest that you leave the game immediately and never return! Moreover, it would behoove you to bad mouth the game as much as possible so that no other prospective subscribers get hurt or injured from that vicious programming flaw!

It has the worst damn customer support EVER. Sure they give you places to search for answers, but one year ago when I played, this game had so many damn bugs it was pathetic. Now I only had one bug. One tiny little bug. It was the SOUND BUG. Everytime a loud and noisy battle would take place or alot of ships would be in the same area making alot of sound, THE WHOLE DAMN PC WOULD SHUT DOWN and reset itself. TIme and time again. I literally had to go into the computer and shut the sound off in order to play. I followed ALL THE STEPS as was told to do by thier site. Absolutely nothing. I have a 3.2 pc with 2gigs of ram and a very high end graphics card , well a year ago it was, and yet my system had sound problems in this game. Not EQ2, not DAOC, not WoW, not Lineage 2, not ANY OTHER MMORPG had this problem for me except this game and trying to get some help from the WORST SUPPORT IN MMORPG HISTORY is next to impossible. Im betting they never even fixed this. I know alot of peeps that quit because of this.
End of Line.
Ohhhh i just love this. I work in a computer store here in sweden and i just love moron costumers like you. You tell ous that you have a superb PC but you dont even know what 3d card you have ? And its always the applications fault isent it ?
Why not smash som sence into your thick skulle and do some prime95/memtest on your comp you stupid shit ?
When you write an aswer to this i want a realy good explanation what you have done with your pc and exactly what hardware you have.
Motherboard/chipset How many mem sticks and brand Temperature on 3dcard and CPU/NB/PWM 3Dcard brand And how many houers you can run prime 95 and how many errors you get in memtest.
If this part is okej we start to check your software. Lets start from the beginning and do a clean install and ONLY use the latest drivers from the official site.
try this
site:myeve.eve-online.com "disable sound"
in google.
11 pages of results from eve forums alone. that's 110 results with many posts on each thread saying the same thing over and over.
My eve sound is all foobarred. My sound card works fine with every game but eve. So either all the other games are broken and work with my broken sound card or eve sound is broken. The other three sound cards I tried had the same issues.
The games I can play with sound include: Battlefield II SWG Guild Wars DDO (and every other game I've ever tried to play)
I am a software engineer and build my own gaming rigs out of top quality parts so I doubt that it's user error in my case. When onboard sound is disabled on my mobo, windows doesn't detect it, and I removed the jumper to free up the irq. Eve's sound management is >terrible< .
It isn't his sound card, m'kay?
In my case, I don't care. I fly with sound disabled to decrease lag as I pvp a lot. I also like to be able to hear my mates on TS so we don't all get killed. In a large battle, the sound goes to shit along with excessive lag which is server side as indicated by every person on TS in our group experiencing the exact same issues.
I am just pointing out that the sound issues in eve are an eve problem, not the players' computers.
Before you make an idiot out of yourself again you need to realize that it's possible you don't know everything there is to know about computers. It's entirely likely, since you work in retail, that you don't know shit from shinola, except what you read in magazine reviews. Very few of you peeps have any idea what really goes on inside of that neon embellished box of yours, outside of how to install a disk drive or new card.
Maybe you are a CS student.
I suggest you get eve yourself and try a 400 ship pvp battle before you talk about eve sound issues again ;P

And I'm sick of the "well all MMOs suck at customer support" ... f' that.
When the hell did anyone get something successful by living up to someone elses mediocrity.
