Well opeth you do have a way with words, and being that your user name is opeth, you have taste in melodical metal. Learn to play an instrument and write a song(chicks dig guys that play instruments) It'll make you feel better because when you play something as melodic as Opeth does you can almost feel beside yourself and sometimes that makes people happy. Don't live to appease your parents, thats what i've learned, you might never be directly able to make them happy. If you don't make them happy it doesn't matter, never strain yourself on doing something for other people(yes selfish, but if it gets you by...) being that others will never strain themselves to make you happy.
I live to feel. Happiness isn't everything. Happiness is just another emotion, next to pain and anguish and satisfaction. If you live to feel you can in the end live to learn, to learn about everything. To learn about how it feels to be everyone, and how it feels to feel everything. I don't know if that makes sense, but thats why i live. I want to know everything and feel everything. (i guess its selfish, but if it gets you by^^)...
I hope some day we can all put aside our racisms and prejudices and just laugh at people

Why do people feel the constant need to question their own existence? You just are, thats that. God didn't create man, man created God. I suppose giving life in meaning is more an examination of self than anything else. Some people choose to make their chosen career their life and do their best to move up in their chosen field. Some men live for the specific purpose of "doin' it" with as many women as possible. Some people do nothing but sit in their parents' basement, smoke weed and think of stupid things like the meaning of life and posting it in random forums on the interweb.
Well in my opinion the meaning of life is what you hope life will bring you. Some believe its just for offspring...lucky you whilst others believe its too live life to the max. Nobody knows why they were put on this world, but people know that they are here and must do what they see is right.
If somebody does know the meaning of life, will it go with what we believe...all i can say is "i dont know".
Life is a gift, which we all accept, some abuse it and throw it away, whilst others cherish it and use it to the full. If i was to leave a thought behind it would be that. I made that quote up (really i did) and i think that sums up life in my opinion.
So overall, the meaning of life...what can i say...maybe we find out on our death-beds when we are about to slip to the unknown...to others to the end....whilst to others the beginning.

For me, the meaning of life is to learn as much as I can, and better myself at everything I do through relationships, friends, learning, music, all of the stuff I can get ahold of. I think I'm pretty good at it so far, but there's still a lot that I want to accomplish.
So in ending, you always have time to do something you want. Never say you'll do it 'later,' because later might turn into even later, and even later at that; or later may never even come around to begin with.
