    All MMORPG games should be free or very cheap to buy the client. They are ganking you for $10-$15 a month, no reason you should have to pay $50 for the client as well. Should be $19.99 or less or a free download off of their site.

    They should be required to make a good game that you will want to play for month after month. The way it is now, they can make a crappy game, get your $50 and maybe one or two months of $10 each and they have you for $70 for a crappy game.

    Not true as far as I know, you have to pay for activation after trial (unless they changed it)

    Download and trial = free.

    Active account = pay.

    Buying at the store achieves the same result, except that you paid retail.

    Yes, when you download the AO client from FunCom you have to pay for the client if you choose to continue playing after the initial trial...but because the client comes with 30 days free it all kina feels the same image

    Yep, one of the reasons I liked AO...the trial. Granted, it was shorter when I tried...but still, I like the system :)
