If DDO is the worst one you played I guess you've never played any Korean MMOs
OR maybe he actaully understood what Korean games are about, and realised many asian mmo's are better then DDO. could also be he never played an asian mmo, who knows.
My personal favourite was FFXI.[teamwork/satisfying accomplishments/exploration/battle system/quests/well balanced classes/spell system]
Tough to put a handle on the worst ever because there was quite a few games i deleted from my HD after less than 15 minutes of gameplay. For some reason i keep thinking of planetside.Perhaps because it was one of my first beta tests, and was expecting too much from it.RYZOM and a few others never lasted more than 15 minutes on my HD.First impressions are huge.DnD is a close second because again i expected too much and got a kiddie hold my hand game instead, then i get an email saying they made the game more solo friendly, please come back...pfft.
As easy my fave pick was,the over rated pick is just as easy>>>>WOW.It had only one thing it did better than FFXI or EQ2 and that is solo play. There isn't any other aspect of the game that can compare.I used those 2 games as examples because they are the closest thing to WOW,no sense trying to compare it to a totally different type of game.
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.
Best: COH/V- A game that improves with every patch. No other MMO has ever accomplished this beyond 3 months, especially not WOW.
Worst: tie- EVE, Guild Wars, WOW.
EVE- Glorified chatroom. Once I learned how to play, the game quickly became boring. I was like "people actually enjoy THIS?!?!"
GW- I could never get over the fact that all men look like 12 year old girls. Even warriors. Too scrawny.
WOW- The gameplay experience has been in steady decline since day 1. With each patch, the game just gets worse, and in that sense, Burning Crusade is just another patch.

Best - AC1 by far. The sheer magnitude of the possibilities offered by using randomly generated items, a real "skill" based character system, having a huge world, interesting tradeskills and resource items, and the bucketloads of content AC1 had kept me playing for three years.
Worst - CoH. Lack of any real content and a limiting "skill tree" type system (that wouldn't challenge even a 6th graders intellect) had me quitting before the game went retail. Nice character creation process though. Too bad there was nothing else.
Overhyped - WoW. I was fairly entertained until I hit level 54 or so. But afterwards doing the same raid instance over and over again to obtain some cheesy limited spawn item was the absolute dregs....not to mention the meaningless and boring PvP. With the development money Blizzard had you'd think they could have come up with a better end game than that.

How are RS and MapleStory the worst MMO's...DDO and Roma Victor suck balls LITERALLY compared to them...
Best MMOs - RuneScape and WoW Crappiest MMOs - Hero Online, SWG, DDO MMO's played - RS, WoW, GW, EVE, AO, PlanetSide, Jumpgate, Face of Mankind, MapleStory, SO, Liniege 1 & 2, City of Villains, Flyff, Realm Online, SWG, Seed, Sims Online, City of Heroes.

Best: Eve-Online, Ragnarok Online pre-bot insanity. Eve because it is very good for people that have work/eduction and dont have time to spend 8 hours a day playing a game. RO because it has a good community like Eve and good storyart and concept. Worst: L2 - A game designed on grinding with awful graphics, awful concept and downright disgusting customer service. Overhyped: WoW - A game that owes its "popularity" to psychological side affects of its loot system and the Warcraft series great popularity, and of course alot of fanboys and fangirls. You know who you are!

I have played a few Korean games, and I when I played them I liked them for a while, I never liked DDO from the first minute I played.
Best: City of Villains (and by FAR, it leave competition about 5 to 10 year behind on many DESIGN aspects). It has some flaws, such as IoP, Accolades, Nerfs...but...still the best, by FAR.
Second Best: EverQuest, I would prolly be playing it and cursing at raiding, if I didn't find better, and at least, CoV merely enforce some PvP and it is on a superficial level, still, it is bad that CoV enforce any PvP, but far less annoying than that raiding-trash enforcement. LDoN is the best part of EQ, raiding is the worst.
Worst: I dunno, I don't like to dwell too much on negativity, rather focus on positive aspect and on points to improve, talking about WoW here would bring nothing, I look at it, I dislike it, I turn the page. It is over and settle.
BioWare will change everything and they will make a masterpiece! Yup they will! And that day, I will praise them as gods!

I agree with you, but nerfs where unrequired and they destroy a LOT. Nerfing me has made me allergic to the word: Game Balancing...O just hear it and I recoil while getting a cross in front of me!

Best: If you can forgive the graphics: UO Classic (pre-trammel) SWG Pre-NGE/CU was as well. Alas for the demise of the best
Worst: Hmmm now that's a tough one... lots of competitors here. Have to go with DDO though because as BAD as the other "BAD" MMO's are at least they're "complete" MMO's. DDO is only 1/3 of a game. If that.
Overrated: WoW
Currently Playing: Dungeons and Dragons Online. Sig image Pending Still in: A couple Betas
Best: WoW..idk i just like it Worst: Dark age of camelot..idk..the graphics weren't appealing to me..and the community seemed dead and i just couldnt get into it..i mean i know its a good game its jsut my least favorite Over-rated: EVE...doesnt appeal to me in the least bit...never played it though
