Items... I always look the same

Greetings,

I bought Guild Wars when it first came out but haven't played it in a while. When I did play, it seemed that whenever I would upgrade my armor I would still look the same, has this changed, is there more items that look different.

There are not many different items but in this king of game, this is an advantage 'cos in pvp, your ennemy can't see if you have better or worse weapons than him (he can hesitate lol)... Can be useful for newbs... lol

Gw is not about iteams and armor...the Games is about useing your skills to your advantange

Their are a couple of different sets.  If you keep buying basic + energy sets you'll always look the same etc.

Once you get to the end game their are couple of sets with the same bonus you can choose from.  Like + energy set can be ascalon, Fissure of Woe, etc style.

reguardless it doesn't make a different in your defense what your armor looks like.

Lots of armors would spoil the game... and how too cope with too many armors ???

even your armor will be different, your armor stats will be the same as the rest

Since Factions came out, the amount of new weapons and armors and character customization features have doubled. So you even have different looking warriors based on weather they start out in tyria or cantha. Very cool:D

Now you can create armor for pvp which different bonuses, so you can have aeromancer armor and +10 armor while enchanted

With every GW chapter the amount of cutomization increases (more armours, weapons etc.). As a bonus resently ANet added 3 new dyes (grey, white, brown). If you want to look different you can find a combo no one else is using =]
