All the winners were given 24 hours to reply. Those who didn't lost their spot and random subs were chosen. Those subs also had 24 hours. Those that didn't respond, blah blah blah.  You get the idea.

They didn't redraw last night.  These last 6 have had over 44 hours to confirm so far.

It doesn't look like they are going to redraw for just six slots, which is a real bummer.

Everyone should pm them about this. I personally think they should just give the last six to people who have been following this contest and posting about it. I am sure there are six of you who would confirm in a matter of seconds if the sent you a winners e-mail. Then we all could get our beta codes and information on what to do next.

This is extremely disappointing.  Not just that I didn't win .  But mostly because the last 5-6 people have had far more time than the original people had for theirs.  It's unfair to them... I really think it's only fair to redraw for the last bit- or else give them to people actively following it on the boards like someone else said.

Or give to someone who's birthday was on 9/1.   You can just imagine the disappointment.  I just thought for sure that mmorpg.com would recognize that my b-day was on the same day as the drawing........guess not.

Although I hardly post on the forums, I am a dedicated MMORPG.com member that visits this web site daily to read the latest news and forum discussions.  I just had to respond and support the other members that are criticizing the LOTRO winner selection process.

Winners will be required to respond within 24 hours to claim their prize. If after this time no names have been confirmed, we will disqualify remaining tickets and select the remaining winners by a method of our choosing.

I totally agree with the other posters claiming the unfairness of some winners claiming their prize after the 24 hour time period.  With this type of contest, the rules should be strictly adhered to as to show support and fairness to MMORPG.com members that have been waiting intently on the LOTRO contest.

Hopefully, with the slight problems faced in the LOTRO contest, the MMORPG.com staff will change the selection process methodology and strictly follow the rules that are set for future contests.

It seems like there are still 3 pending after another 24 hour time period?  Oh well, there's still a slight chance.  Good luck to all still hoping for a chance at an LOTRO beta slot!

Damn! I really wanted in this. I'm in a kinship and I wanted at least one of us to get a jump start in the game mechanics. Oh well I think at least one of us got it.

It doesn't matter how long they take to finally fill all the 200 spots. Fact of the matter is we are going to have to wait until the end of september, at the earliest ,to get in anyways.
