I think ive reached my limit

I think ive gotten to a point now where I can no longer dislike the NGE any further, in other words, my hate is at its climax.
For about the past 4-5 hours ive been thinking to myself just about Star Wars in general, the games, movies, whatever. Ive been pondering buying Battlefront 2 for my fix since its only $20 now, but I know ill get sick of it in a week or so like everything else. The Star Wars games that have been comming out are just too lacking, some of them are good, but they are lacking. Im pissed.
Do I try the SWG trial again? Do I just say fuck it and buy the starter kit and subscribe to the access pass (since I play EQ2)? Or do I need a verbal beating from the kind fellows in this forum?

I feel your pain. I just played 4 games of FIFA 2006, 2 of which ended predictably with the other team scoring in the 90th minute to tie or win the game.
Then I come here to bitch and moan about the loss of MY game. After that I'll install some patches for the software I run for a couple of businesses, then study more 3D graphics stuff so I can put together some proof of concept animations for a game I want to get funding for.
Rinse...repeat nightly. I used to have SWG to take the place of those 4 FIFA 2006 games I'd rather not play and the bitching I'd rather not do. I get tempted every now and then to renew anyhow and make the best of it, but this time something is stopping me. I just hate them so much for what they destroyed and the reasons they did it that I cannot do it.
If you do give in, I'll understand....wuss.

Remember what SOE took away from you. Whether it was your Jedi, your equipment, your time, or "just" your trust. You will never get that back. In an MMO, all we have is our character's development to show for our time. They took that development and virtually erased it. They flat-out told you that your money was no longer wanted. They were willing to sacrifice you for a dozen 12-year-olds. Your feelings, your wants and desires for the game, were no longer considerations. You became a non-entity to SOE.
And just remember... SOE's parent company feels exactly the same way.
By the way, that $20 for a week is worth it. It's a fun game.

Its not SWG specifically I feel like playing, I just dont know what the hell to do anymore, I might pussy out and buy an XBOX 360 to stare at.

Very true. But I can feel his pain. I just fired up my new laptop over the weekend and watched X-Men for the 50th time from boredom. The laptop made it seem a "little" new. Sometimes you don't want to do something productive, or athletic, or romantic. Sometimes killing Gungans is the only thing to you can think of that brings a smile to your face. What then I ask?

Read over some of the "Well... I resubbed last night" posts. Those rants usually do a pretty decent job of describing everything that sucks about the game.

I don't use the combat system much in SWG, I stick to the non combat fun I used to have and only do combat when I have too such is wookieland and such to finish the quests there. I waiting to see how they do on the crafter revamp before I decide to keep or kill my second account.

Lucky for us Helios is gonna run this piece of crap off a cliff so there is hope for either pre-CU servers or SWG2. But i dont expect either for at least 12-15 months.
