It was great , heck I could not log on until the next day . SOE had a hit on their hands and they let it slipped through their finger and they  monkey wrench it into the abomination better know has the NGE .

It is really sad.  I think SWG was the pennacle of MMOs.  I and most of my guild are just waiting for a new MMO to come out that we can reunite in.  Vanguard was the leading candidate until SOE became invovled.  That was going to be our main focus, but with SOE involved most of our players lost interest and/or completley wrote it off.

I can tell you though, when the creator of the game JUMPS SHIP and warns them that this would be a mistake.. and the guy freaking quits that has got to tell you that somthing is wrong or not a wise choice.

I mean really, there is some common sense at play here.

How good is the game now that 9 MONTHS later and the loss of over 2/3rds of the population is it? 

Has the game been well recieved??? LOL???  I mean crap, people need to just grab thier sack and just see it as is for what it is.

Quit trying to say "Oh just wait until it's done" or "Well it's almost there, the XXXXX is being put in".. or "In one year it will have this!"  --   Big freaking deal, this thing is so fucked up that not even SONY will promote it heavy at the last E3 and LEC BY ALL MEANS is not promoting the game for shit now.

Bah I started in July 04. I lost interest based on all the feedback before and after launch. I listened to the wrong crowd of people back then. See how word of mouth can influence a players decision. It wasn't till the 14 day free trials that I jumped onboard. I took some vacation time and played almost 18 hours a day. I had tons of fun and got hooked.
