I wish they would hurry up with virtual reality so i can play mmorpg games through one. Whats takeing them so long with this i remember years ago the Atari jaguar was realeaseing one but it made people sick surely it cant be that hard to do it would make games so much better.

Virtual Reality is ready to go right now!

The reason why we don't have it is because there isn't enough consumer demand for it. That's why the gear is still so expensive...

But, even if there were a much higher demand it would be virtually impossible to get MMOG developers to do anything about it...because they cater to the lowest common denominator and the lowest common denominator seem to be perfectly satisfyed with the junk they have now!

Making a worthwhile VR MMOG would require a very strong commitment from a consortium, like Sony-Toshiba-IBM, in order to bring it to market...it would cost a billion $ just to develop consumer level VR gear!

At any rate, we're not going to see a VR MMOG for at least another decade or so.

But we might see a single player VR game around 2010-12...most likely it'll be a game for the next next-gen consoles.

The quality still isn't as good as one would hope for. Give it like 10 more years and you will the it come to the common market

I know you mean something a bit more advanced, but with the wii's motion sensor control system it is probably something they are looking into
