    You give them far more credit than they deserve.  You imply that they are doing it deliberately, and that would imply design, which would imply intelligence.  None of which is true.  The reality is that these guys are just not very bright.

    I actually think they did intend to do some of this though, I really do.   Listen, they needed to get rid of the thinking crowd, reading and SIM type players to move into this NGE thing.

    They did not want people to protest or debate them about this, think about it.. what better way to filter us out so they can see who they can sheep over time?   I mean really... they have almost filtered all of us out by now or should have and if they havn't then that is just sad it's taking this long for them.

    Sooner or later all that will be left is 10000 Obriaks doing and just abiding with everything said and done by them.   Nobody to stand up to them, nobody to even argue that somthing is wrong...nope..  just do as they say.. and play.  The perfect NGE crowd is one that does not even post a thread on the SOE boards...

    They have gotton rid of almost all the complex parts of the game, most of us Vets are gone... what are left is the Vets that came back ... At least the NGE did teach people some things though of what NOT to do.

    You may be right, be even if you are, that in itself would imply the stupidity responsible for a tragic lack of foresight.  Just because you're a businessman and not a scientist does not mean you can ignore Newton's Third Law.  Did they just think the people they didn't want would simply walk away and quietly seek another game?  So much for all that time you spent getting your MBA.

    It's kinda like the Galatic Sens... Take away the Corr title while the NGE is getting flamed, rename these guys so they have a different name with less worth... let the players think they mean somthing and then use them to distract you with posts while the DEV team fucks the game up more.

    There is no way that the GS's are even needed, not only have they now been outed perse but the Dev team has not listened to them 90% of the time anyway.

    But in the end I still think KARMA is going to win.....  it will come back around two fold onto the people that thought they knew or refused to listen.   The ones that said "They know whats better" etc...

    Karma always wins... so far it's about the only thing that is constant.   --- Well death lol..

    Even blunderers can sometimes blunder into genius.  Did SOE intend to
    destroy the community, get themselves the worst name in the industry,
    and become as unpalatable to MMO players as fried dog shit?


    Of course not.


    But if they HAD planned it, they couldn't have executed it any better
    than what they actually did.  Of course, SOE being SOE, had they
    actually TRIED to accomplish pissing off the community, etc, they would
    have failed and instead pleased it.

    The Senators had better go underground if they want to play on the Duck.  Which most of them will.  They won't be very popular people.

    I have a right to be pissed LOL. I never wanted any changed i liked the game at original release. I liked the new content and all that but i hated every class change.
