I did get my money back!

As so many others here I have had problems with cancellation of my sub (or in this case trial) and was billed :(
So wrote an email to the special cancellation address, got a "nice letter" from the "Dr." back. And yes, after about 3 weeks the money was refunded!
So it does seem to work. Phew! I thought I would have to cancel my credit card....

not to burst your bubble but some clear advice for you here.

Keep watching your statements. People have been getting refunded only to get billed again the next month. In some cases 2 3 times for the same sub they already cancelled and got a refund for once already.

It shouldn't as well take 3 weeks to get it back. it should take at most 7 days.

I got my money back in August too, and got rebilled in September. In August I even had a personal phonecall with the ever rude and nasty Ed Andercheck...and yet I still got billed again. Three weeks for a refund of a charge that shouldn't have been done in the first place is ridiculous, and not everyone can afford to keep absorbing $12.95 a month while EI plays around.

I'm speaking with an Attorney this afternoon about a potential class action lawsuit for their illegal and fraudulent billing and I've already filed complaints with the internet crime center, the Montana Attorney General, and the bbb. What they're doing isn't "newbie" mistakes, and it's not something that's taken lightly. It's a crime to knowingly bill people who either have cancelled, or have no method of cancelling their accounts. Because it crosses state lines, it's a federal crime.

A few people have said they have submitted their case to the FBI site that deals with internet fraud.  So far, they've not been informed that it doesn't apply, so it's possible that the authorities might look in to it.  If this is had just been a couple of cases and it only happened once, I would give the company the benefit of a doubt.  I shouldn't think they're intentionally trying to commit fraud... if they are, they're doing a terrible job at covering it up.  I'm sorry to say it, but if they can't sort out their own business, someone (Ayanla and the others who are being ripped off) will have to sort it out for them.  Good luck!

They've billed me twice so far for 12.95 even though I cancelled my account 10 days before the stupid free 2 month trial ended. This is getting ridiculouse. When I tried to cancel the first time, their stupid cancel page was giving me errors and rerouting me to the login screen, so I wrote them a letter to cancel. then I filled out some form they gave me to cancel the account (because they supposedly knew there wer problems with the cancelation) which I did and I still got billed the second time. God damnit this is just getting out of hand.

EDIT: the free 2 month trial I was talking about was a contest I won...just sheding some light on that.

After a couple months of being billed, and writing emails that were never responded too, i filed a complaint with the BBB.  A little while after that i recieved an email from them and a refund.   I'm still waiting to see if i get billed again, but i suggest anyone who is having the problem, file a complaint with the bbb online.

I think it's probably a coincidence.  I'm not implying people shouldn't report companies, but generally all the BBB does is keep a record of the complaint.  They're not a government agency or anything so there's not really anything they can do.  The very little they do takes a very long time.
