This game "looks" interesting but what's it like to play?

After playing Dark Age of Camelot for almost five years I'm looking for a new game and looking for comments but the ones I've seen in other posts don't tell me much.

Comments like "This game sucks" don't help me, or anyone else for that matter, and they don't help developers of games make games we'd love to play.

I've been a gamer for over twenty years and I seriously want developers to make games I want to play.  I invite you here to be specific about this game and, at the same time, help the gaming developers (because I have no doubt they read this stuff) to make a game you'd love to play.  And, while you're at it, help people like me know what it's really like to play this game and if we'd want to buy it and why or why not..

I wasn't fortunate enough to get the beta so I'm looking for information before I even consider shelling out $49.99 for it.

I'm building a new computer,  help me find a new game to go with it.  Thanks

    I can only suggest to you that you actualy play the game.

    Reading opinions, looking at information or even screenshots and watching video's is totally different from actualy playing the game. And it will hardly help you determin if the game is fun or not for you, or if it's the right game for you.

    So try playing it. And I also suggest playing it for at least a week. Or even till your 20+ I can easily say the pvp, hunting and quests gets better than. But that's just me.

    ^^ So try playing it and see for yourself.

    Like I said, I wasn't fortunate enough to get a beta so I cannot play the game.  And I'd like to ask for some intelligent opinions before I'd even consider paying $49.99 for a game I know nothing about (those days are long gone)  That's why I'm asking.

    It's open beta now. You can easily get a beta key by going to fileplanet. You don't even have to pay.

    Buy it.. try it for 10-20 hours..then decide...even if you quit after that short of a time...you get the same amount of Game Play as you would have with any other PC Game.

    There are a lot of Video Clips at youtube that show in-game Game Play as well as a few large battles.

    Thanks Lilith and RyuukoGo.  I downloaded the beta and I'm off and running.  So far it's great fun.

    Well,maybe. Are you a moon elf archer by any chance? I wouldn't mind some advice on skill spec.

    No. But I played a melf elementalist. ^^ I'm not a big fan of archers.

    And btw, I hardly ever solo :d
