After all these months I am still longing for a game that completes me...Theres has never and i do not see there ever being a game quite so good as SWG was in its hay day. It seems that the NGE has exterminated more than just SWG but all existance of good MMORPG gaming for all time....just to make way for prozac babby games like CSS and NGE. Long gone are the days of intelligent game play, here are the days of point and click. No more "No player is the same"....no more experience starwars of your own.....its be gay and follow lukes lame path.... and all the other HALO fags..

Most people never find a MMO as good as their first. I don't think that it being SWG had anything to do with it. I am a huge Star Wars fan, but because my first experiences in a MMO world was with DAoC in 2002, SWG never could compete with the feelings of stepping into my first MMO world and learning what it meant to live in a MMO world.
No need to be prejudice to games that are not like the Pre-CU game. There are plenty of games out there that require skill. There is a variety of skills needed in MMO's. Some skills are used in one MMO and not in another, while other skills are used in another MMO, but not in that one. That's the way it is and the way games are. That's why there are different genre's and people select a game based on the genre they like best.
Also, are you prejudice against gay people? I see that you mentioned "gay" and "fag" both in your post. Are you saying that you do not believe in equality and freedom of choice? The very staples of American culture and what our country was founded on? Or are you from another country with narrow views and believe in dictating what a person can and can't do?
I'm not gay, but even I find your use of the terms to describe something you don't like as offensive. Next time I will report a post like this. This time I will let it slide, because I don't think you were thinking of offending people.
To the op - all you can do is try other MMO's & games getting as much fun out of them before boredom set in & you move onto the next.

Surely someone as smart and almighty as you has learned that one persons freedoms end at the next person's. So he is free to speak about whatever he wants until he starts offending other people. Then the offended can take whatever measures that are within his rights to protect his freedom to not have to hear the crap.

Well with that said, I find your post offensive to his as such. His slang or meaning in terms is just that to him.
What you think is right by his standards may not be right by yours. Now then, with all of that said we are back to "he said she said" and nobody wins. I have the right not to hear your crap but you still spew it, since this is a public forum I think that is the risk and nature of the beast perse. Now, as long as he is (within) "common" decent text/chat as he seems he was I think he will be ok with the mods.
Common sense rules do still apply. You should consider a job selling the NGE for the Devs to people though, you may just be able to do it lol.

For me was not the first mmo, played AC 1 and 2, and after more than 1 year (when I left SWG because of CU and NGE) I still have an empty heart.....

Well yes, then in that context the freedom of speach as seen by the forum rules. However, I will also add that freedom of opinion is granted here in most respects also using common sense as a first rule of judgment.
Note: common sense... like all things in life, people do still need to use this time to time.
Slang and names can be viewed many a ways, for instance the NGE is a dummied down version of SWGs first version.. Now.. does this make the people that play the NGE dummies? Hmm... lol one must wonder?

This is a public forum, but the forum still has rules and using the terms gay and fag in the way he used them are against the rules. Hijacking a thread is also against forum rules, which is what you are doing, just so you can argue with me. I responded to his problem in my OP, but you've failed to comment on the his dillema even once.
You've just come on this thread, because you seen my name in it and you know I always provide something disagreeable for you to argue with. So you came on this thread to argue with me. Well it ends here. The OP has gotten my input that he was seeking and I have caught myself contributing to your thread hijacking. I will show the OP some respect and stop the hijacking here. Maybe you can be man enough and do the same.

First of all, that is incorrect. Offensive speech is just as protected as inoffensive speech, at least in the US. This is why orgainizations such as the KKK are able to legally form protest marches. In other words, as long as someone does not advocate violence, or make false and malicious statements about another's character (liable and slander), they can call you any number of names they like.
Secondly, you have no recourse to force another to keep quiet in public. Kind of like AFK advertising spammers in SWG, if you don't want to listen to them then you just ignore them.
Finally, as Fadeus pointed out, this is a private forum and it is subject to the rules of MMORPG.com. If you believe that the poster was engaging in hateful activites (which is a topic that can be reported), then you should feel free to report him. This would likely result in a mere ban at the most. If he had made a death threat *looking at all the anti-Smedley posters now* then MMORPG might feel it is necessary to contact the appropriate legal authority.

No hijack was intended, when you commented about your thoughts on his words, or slang I commented that your threat of reporting him was as lame as could be. (The common sense rule) -- as far as ruling you out.. nope, you do that to yourself quite fine. I have no need to single you out. But you went after the OP for pretty much petty crap. If your that sensitive about words used as slang and or cannot tell that then maybe you should be very careful on this forum as to what you read.
But of course again, I did not mean to or intend to hijack anythng I miss SWG as much or more then most myself.
I think that the NGE has at least shown us what can happen when somthing is messed with to much.
