Stay in it, do the best you can, cause it is damn hard to go back to college when you finally admit that you do in fact need it.

Develop a strong working ethic, high alcohol tolerance, and stay in school. I'm assuming that you're talking about high school, but if you're not then just disregard this post.
I went to Ohio U last year and it was awesome. I'm an engineer, but I still had time to join a bunch of extra curricular stuff and get really involved. I also joined a fraternity, which I highly reccomend. People will tell you that "frat guys are dicks" "you pay for your friends" and stuff like that, but it really comes down to just finding the one full of guys like you. There are meatheaded frats out there that blow, so just watch out because they lie like it's their job to get you in.
College is 100 times, if not 1000000 times better than high school. The girls are hotter and sluttier, the teachers are cooler and more laid back, and the lifestyle just rocks. No where else in life can you live off of 50 spare dollars a month. The experiences at college are things that you will only experience there, so it's a once in a lifetime opportunity.
I'm down in Houston working for the space program right now on a co-op and I miss school dearly. All the friends I have back there are awesome and are the best friends that I've ever had. I'm down here until the end of December so I have quite a while. From this though, I realized how awesome school is and how little I would ever want to leave.
So, to answer in short (as if it's not too late already!), college is awesome. You're going to love it. Moments like that first weird call to your future freshman roomate, and that first awkward dorm hookup, will live on forever and you'll love every minute of it.
P.S. if you live in the dorms and don't get laid your freshman year...you must be doing something very, very wrong.
I've had drug habits, weapons, bullying, sexual molesting, racism and all the rest in my classes over the years. Had to shout every word I said for 6 months solid at one place. Drill sargeants aren't nothing on me.
Others no more than 10 miles away completely different. Polite students of the same age with the will to learn and the manners to match. I've taught the richest and poorest societies have to offer and found no major difference in personality types.
Kids from warzones are the hardest work. Too much aggression.
JAP air hostess school for has been my favourite one so far.

I lived in the dorms and didn't get laid freshman year. Damnit!
Bleh, College is fun, but I liked high school just as much. I guess you could say I miss the structure of high school, and I miss looking forward to drinking on the weekends. Now I'm an alcoholic, class is mind numbingly boring, and all of my best friends are at other schools. I mean, I have friends at school, but all that means is someone to drink with when I'm tired of doing it alone. People said repeatedly that college would be the time of my life, and I'm just waiting for that to happen I guess.
Oh, and frat guys are dicks who pay for their friends.
lol, touche! I guess what you can get from this thread is you get back what you put into college. I still talk to my 'posse' from high school, but that didn't keep me from going out and making tons of new friends in college. For the first few weeks, just leave your door open all the time, and if someone has theirs open, walk in and introduce yourself. The more people you meet in college, the better it is. As for the drinking deal, if any of you can top my minute long keg stands, I bow to you.
Drinking is pretty big in college if you get into it, but if you don't drink, then there's still tons of stuff to do! Either way though, drunk girls are easy. If there's some drunk girl at a party and you think she's hot, you best start spitting some hot fire. The worst that could happen is that she could say no, and even then you could get her another drink and turn it into a yes if you're that kind of sleezy guy lol.
Woo meatheads! My friends cost me 300 dollars a quarter! haha jokes.
From a parent prospective, school sucks. I so miss the days of summer when I could sleep in on weekday mornings instead of getting up and getting them off to school. :P
Its hard, it may be boring some times, but its necessary and rewarding!
I can't way to finish high-school and go to college. One step closer to get my own life! And THE step to get out of my parents house, maybe to a house togheter with friends!
Still, I think I will, sometime in the future, miss school!

Some schools I have worked in are a total nightmare.
Ramapaging students, rampaging parents, interfereing government agents. Teenage boys. Absolutely horrible.
I've had drug habits, weapons, bullying, sexual molesting, racism and all the rest in my classes over the years. Had to shout every word I said for 6 months solid at one place. Drill sargeants aren't nothing on me.
