I stoped eve a while ago, becasue i was bored with it. i only had 1mill sill points but they were all in indy so i can make money after i made a couple of mill i did have anything to spend it on becasue my guild had every thing i needed. and i was in a guild that was in the middle of no where. so i quit becasue i got tired of doing mining runs. Now i have started WOW which is not that bad of a game, but i havent died yet from a pie or anything and i cant kill any newer players like my self ethier because you cant even see them. so i feel like i am longing for eve becasue of the open world. and im going to have fun this time around becasue i am going to be a pie. hehe cya in game and if your a pie corp look up Gallaid i might join up.

I've played EVE for a while and haven't yet died from a pie....
(I'm guessing you mean pirate?)
Make sure you find a corp w/ dedicated covops alt. Ask ahead of time because you'll be chasing c4ke in belts for a long while and you'll need them.
Also, make sure you have an agreement laid out on loot and wages ahead of time, b/c the corp will take advantage of your time.
My usual agreement is I evaluate what they offer or possess and its utility to me. So if they have a POS here or there, and good support in other areas, you might say "ok, you are entitled to a credit of 12h per week of my time as you see fit, but beyond that I need x amount of isk per hour to do what you want, a certain percent of take on loot, or be free to do my own thing."
Trust me, I have yet to find a ceo that won't monopolize all of my time (which isn't always a bad thing tbh), but you've got to stand your ground and not be a pushover for any half-arse p-rat corp.
