A similar grind to Jedi?

I like the idea of having an alpha class available if you work for it.

Just wanted to know if anyone has found other games with the same sort of grind?

    You won't find that in any game because no even halfwitted developer is stupid enough to destroy their virtual world by adding in such a retarded concept.

    To the op - sry there is no other game like pre-NGE SWG i have tried to find one but all is in vain.

    Since everyone is sharing there "OWN BELIVE" jedi never killed SWG it was the twats who didnt know how to reach jedi that killed it with there moaning.

    Next MMO you play please read the instruction manual, if you cant be bothered then just move onto the next game - may i suggest runescape for you.

    There is at least one game - WoW.  Except it isn't for an alpha prof, rather its for Tier 2, Tier 3, and PvP gear.  I felt the two grindfests were similar.

    Strictly speaking for alpha class, no, SWG was it, but if you broaden the scope of the question a bit to include things like full suits of epic gear, then yes.
