    That's totally a matter of personal taste. Personally, I prefer EQ2.

    i my self like eq1 better untill they started adding to much suff to it it got a bit to eassy like after they added them books that ported you to any city  you wanted to go. i played it for about 8 years i think i cant remeber all that well only played eq2 for about a year then started to not like it not much grouping on eq2 at least on the one i was on seemed to be a big solo game up till like lvl 40+ 

    had 60 sk was max at the time on eq1, and 45 clr on eq2 when i stoped playing them

    Good god, look if you like Eve Online, that's fine. Have fun. But the question was "EQ1 or EQ2?". It has nothing to do with Eve Online. Quit trying to peddle that game. If you want to play Eve, then go do so but it's very rude to come into other peoples threads just to peddle the other games.

    EQ - Playable if you have a decent raid guild, otherwise its horrid.

    EQ2 - Ive tried to find something about this game I like.....but nope cant think of anything.

    EVE - Online screen saver.

    WoW - Good all around but does get old after a while. Too carebear for my tastes..actually all four are.
