Its for sure not ready.. I doubt it will be if they launch on Oct 3rd , (from reading the email from varous retailers). Codemasters doesnt even know what is in thier patches .. so I dont have much faith in them fixing the major until sometime next year.

I understand that the recent patch blunder will have left a negative mark on many Archlord players and interested followers; it affected me too to a point.
But granted CM did issue a 24-hour quick-fix patch to address SOME of the issues brought up by players immediately following the patch; low potion drop rates etc. Although this hasn't changed a lot,I would GUESS that for the most part maybe CM patched their 'new' things a little late in the beta process. We don't often like drastic change in our MMO's,but with less than 3 weeks until release making a patch with such drastic changes can have a negative affect.
I would wait out the immediate storm for a week, then see how people feel about Archlord then. They may adapt to the new changes,no matter how negatively they feel about them. Newcomers via the open beta may not feel the impact of the changes so badly,so they have somewhat a target audience among them in worst case scenario of losing their current audience.
Have patience, try the game out and make your own mind up is my advice to any curious testers. But you're all welcome to your criticisms of course.
I agree try it out at least. None of the bugs are show stoppers. Also the game has many PKs who will show you whatsup , and give you a free teleport back to town, absolutely free. You can't pass up this deal folks it just sells itself.
It's better be hated for who you are, than loved for who you aren't.

Yep,with the prices those portals charge you'd be mad NOT to!

How pray tell do you suppose we are to Heal ourselves? Support classes ruin games period , you become forced to find one to even play , that become a major game stopper. In Every game that uses the Dungeon & Dragons concept of Fighter , Fighter , Mage and Cleric , it takes hours to find a party.
In Final Fantasy 11 right now , for a non Japanese player its 6 hours to find a White Mage or Red Mage. In Lineage 2 , a SE , EE , Bishop cant not solo , and now because of C5 cant even add a tickle of damage.
Priests in WOW have to go Shadow then Healing build at high lvls , its impposible to play one as full healer.
And uh also in a siege or pvp fight .. Support class = one shotted by Archer types or Mage types. O.o So in the end you got a unless character , who adds nothing to the but the ability to heal.
CoH when I was playing , you didnt need healers because buffers could reduce damage enough.
Anything that creates down time , I m totally against , healers/support class = time sink

Pay shops are only bad if they forced you to use them to compete with people. Rome Victor seems to be doing ok with Real Money , so does some of the other games that uses real money.
If it turns into the haves vs the have nots , even thing it will have a fanbase. There are alot of people who need to feel superior in the game , and I bet , thier will be enough people paying the 40.00 a month just to get thier rocks off.
