Your 2006 pvp game of the year award?

Despite the awards have been handed out i have been wondering what do you guys think is the best pvp game of this year so far let me know what you think :D id personaly go for

GW - because it has meny difrent types of pvp! And you have to be constantly aware, the guild ladder is the ulitmate goal to have your guild up in the top 50 is somethign special !  also the the world championships but u have to be special to be in their! i have meny more reasons but let me know what youyr game is ! ty guys

    You did limit it to MMos so I'll say BF2, PVP in MMOs is just boring to me.

    All my friends told me to buy it because it was pretty good, but yeah I think it's probably one of the worst.

    I like the amount of things you can do in BF2, but the control scheme leaves a lot to be desired, especially for the PC version.

    Buy a zboard like I did and control schemes are a thing of the past. Bye bye crappy keyboard shortcuts, hello pre-made zboard settings!

    Don't know.. There hasn't been any good games this year.. But like someone before me said, hopefully next year.. Then perhaps perhaps. :]

    I think for pvp tho gw has to be the best this year if we are talkin mmofps then id have to say wolfenstein ET becuase its free and you can play for along time with out gettin board

    Personally I dislike fps games.. Pretty mindless just running around shooting people.. ;)
    Once Tibia was one of the best pvp games, And I've allways liked UO way of pvp untill the recent updates. :P

    But we're talking about the years games. And the only game that has a good system this year is Guild Wars.. Got boring fast but in the begining it was a nice game. :)

    I haven't played a good PvP oriented game in AGES, let alone anything new... including the betas I've taken part in... emphasis on "good."  I think the bloke who said there hasn't been any decent new ones might be right.  Of course, every game released will be the "best game of the year."  Every single magazine, site, organisation, puts out their own.  I think it might be based on how much advertising space the recepients  buy.  hehe.  A few years ago a friend of mine counted the games that had a 2004 (I think) sticker with "game of the year" on it... umm... nearly all of them.  My cup of coffee would probably qualify if it bought a full page ad from the magazine giving it out!
