Pirate King Online Open Beta Launch Celebration
Date: 22nd September 2006
Time: 6.00 pm – 2.00 am
Venue: @Corner
Estimated Numbers: 30-40 players
Activities of the day:
6.00 pm – 7.00 pm Dinner and getting to know each other
7.15 pm – 11.00 pm Fastest Leveler Competition
11.30 pm – 12.30 am FFA Arena Challenge
12.30 am – 2.00 am Free and Easy (Free play)
Rules for Fastest Leveler Competition
1. Players are to get ready at the character screen by creating their characters first on the menu but are not allowed to join the game world.
2. Players are to wait for the GMs decision to start the event.
3. Once started. Players are to join the game world immediately and begin leveling.
4. There are no rules to how you may level up. (Quest or grinding)
5. At 11.00pm sharp, all players are to have hands off the computer when the GMs call for a halt.
6. Players with the top level will be awarded the prize (1 Rum Card) and also a new title in the Pirate King Online forums (Speed Leveling Monster) which they may choose to accept/reject or give a suitable alternative which we can consider.
7. In the event that a computer crashes or disconnects, player has to either switch to another computer immediately if available to continue or wait for the computer to be restarted.
8. Exploiting bugs (killing monsters stuck at the edge of islands and who do not attack
back) is strictly not allowed.
Rules for FFA Arena Challenge
1. There will be 5 rounds of FFA Challenge in the arena.
2. Players are to wait to be summoned into the arena by GMs.
3. Players are not to attack each other while the event has not yet started but are allowed
to spread themselves out in the arena to a position they are comfortable with.
4. Players caught attacking other players when the event is not started will be given a warning and subsequently booted out from the event.
5. The last man standing for each round is to be declared the winner. (If it is the same person for all 5 rounds he is automatically the winner)
6. All the winners for each of the initial 5 qualifying rounds will subsequently be facing off with each other in the arena with the last person standing the ultimate winner and awarded the prize (1 Rum Card) and also a new title in the Pirate King Online forums (Master Brawler) which they may choose to accept/reject or give a suitable alternative which we can consider.

8. These are no holds barred events, players may form parties to gang up against others or use potions to help them. But there can only be 1 person left standing at the end.
