The poor customer service of ePT is largely attributable to 1.) the lack of attention from Yedang, 2.) the lack of a well designed and implemented customer support template, and 3.) the lack of manpower in administering and providing support to customers. The latter two reasons are results of the first.
The first reason is a result of the fact that Yedang is focusing its attention on its other games, namely PT2 and Audition, and since PT2 is receiving all the attention, we are probably safe in that department.
The second reason is largely due to the fact that during its early stages, Priston Tale was developed by a very small group and later administered by a company and people who were inexperienced in the type of work required. Due to this lack of experience, the current template (all4u) was not well designed nor administered. After many years of criticism by users of Priston Tale, Yedang surely realizes the problem, and likely put some more attention to this aspect of the game.
The third reason, for the moment, is simply due to the lack of revenue generated by ePT; how many people's salary could be paid with the current level of p2ping ePT users? During earlier stages of the game, the issue was more closely related to the limited resources of TriglowPictures, which is no longer an issue now, as Yedang's gaming business is reaching record high profits. Compared to the same quarter of last year (2nd quarter), Yedang has experienced a 340% increase in revenue and 231% in profit due to the export of PT, and more significantly, Audition. Currently, Yedang earns $4 million per month from its gaming business alone, mostly from Audition, which is only a part of its entire operation in the entertainment industry (music publishing, etc.).
