Rose Online?

I just barely heard about this game on this here forum but haven't found a forum specifically for it so I thought  I would post here. First off, this game when I look at it brings a smile to my face. It's kinda cute to be honest. But how is the playstyle? It really looks like an NCSoft game (lineage 2 interface), is it all grind or is there a story behind it? Any advice on it at all, good or bad? I'm downloading the game right now.

Oh yea, is it p2p?

    Rose online is like the big brother to Ragnarok Online. Wait... That's incorrect. It's like the big sister that's not really hot, but so cute you want to poke your eyes out.

    If you are looking for the cutsiest game you ahve EVER played, then rose online isn't bad. I was a big fan of Ragnarok Online, so I did enjoy rose to an extent. It was just too damn cutsie.

    Good game, but too sweet for me.

    It was way to grindy, and the cool things in the game happen after level 100; like carts, cart battles, Castle Gear, new jobs.  Hopefully its fixed in ROSE Evolution.

    ROSE Online is a complete failed attempt to bring Ragnarok Online to 3D. The whole thing and feeling that made RO great wasn't there in ROSE. result? A boring, endless grind. Graphic wise ROSE is a disaster. If you can't create good 3D game, then stick to 2D.

    If you want to play ROSE, then go play Ragnarok Online. its MUCH better then ROSE will ever be.

    It's just grinding, there's one quest for each 5 levels.

    Well as I was downloading the trial, a couple of things went wrong. Firstly, the verification code they sent me just gave me an error, and secondly the download kept freezing at about 85%. So I went to check out Ragnarok Online and was able to register at the very least, but the game download there freezes for me too! Now I'm stuck with only wonder about those two games. The perilous search for a new home continues.

    It means there is something clogging your connection.  I can download both games just fine at 750kb/s  Make sure you are clean of spyware and viruses.
