What a HUGE difference.

Like most people here I've played everything under the sun. I've been playing WoW and Eq2 back and forth since they came out, only breaking for the occasional beta here and there. Well I did play AO for a month (again), but anyway yesterday I bought the epic edition and loaded it up.
I have to say I'm very impressed. I quit just before ToA, and am glad I came back.
The graphics and the character models are WAY better.

I recommend everyone give it a try. You can't go wrong with the free trial.
