...and PLAY the last remaining hours of the Guild Wars NIGHTFALL PREVIEW!! (It's a huge download, but it's worth it)
If you're one of the naysayers, stop writing Guild Wars off and play it! I've played them all, and it's definitely (IMHO) the best Massive, Multiplayer, Online game around right now...by far!
(Ignore the acting of Kormir in the cutscenes though, it's dreadful

I started playing it, now can you tell me what the difference is between Nightfall and the origional guild wars besides that customize your henchmen thing?
Why does there need to be a difference? The original was brilliant...and this chapter just adds lots of good extras, plus the new story and continent are brilliantly designed too (from what I've seen so far).
BTW, why does this topic need negative comments? I'm just encouraging people to try out (what I believe) is the best game around...and inviting them to STOP WHINING! (Therefore this thread isn't meant for more negative comments)
PS. Moz, it's cheaper, if you're just getting into GW, to buy the Prophecies skill set than to buy and play right through the original campaign. This doesn't disadvantage long-term players in the slightest, so I don't see what your problem is (and yes, I've read your complaints in the GW Forum, I just don't think you bring any valid ones...and the counter-arguments by many in the forum are unanswerable...give up the gripe ) EDIT: Plus the new Nightfall heroes use any skills you have unlocked on your account, so it's actually a disadvantage for new players if they DON'T have an easy way to unlock them.
Whos whining? Anyways, I have played GW, and well, its not for everyone but its really amazing if u only have 30-60 min to play. So if u have a pretty tight schedule, then i think this game is perfect, but i dont think its the type of game where u would play for hours and hours until your eyes burn.
plus, no monthly fee
You can't call Guild Wars "Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game" becuase it's not, it's something entirely different. More akin to Phantasy Star online back in it's day. For one, everything being instanced prohibits the massive part of the game, meeting people in town's only and such. It is quite good, but it's not an MMO I don't think.
If anyting its a sort of RPG version of Counter-Strike.
