ThreadSpace in open beta

Firingsquad.com posted Iocaine Studios has announced that they are now starting their open beta of their upcoming multiplayer sci-fi action game ThreadSpace: Hyperbol. People who desire to participate can sign up at the game's official beta site with the beta itself running for between 3 to 4 weeks.

Basic overview: Online multiplayer death match. Overhead view, Fire projectiles at each other. Mostly stationary ships unless you go for a specifically high mobile build. Customizable ship stats, lots of weapon choices. You can buy ship components to tinker with the stats on your ships. Stat tweaking is all about Min/Maxing (If you buff one stat, you have to sacrifice something else.)

Well... thats not an MMO.

But I wish there was a site where they have a large list of non-mmos and non-browser type games. In other words, traditional multplayer games where players can host it.

But this sounds like a nice game.
