game not starting CovUpdated.exe mess up?

Alright, I got everything installed and got a 14 day trail going (less then 14 days now). but
when I click on the icon that is on the desktop (or even in the start menu, it doesnt load up the game. treid it a few
times and nothing. it makes the mouse into the timer for a short bit
and then it goes back to the pointer. anyone know what I can do to fix
it? I already tried uninstalling the game and then reinstalling it, but even that was a no go.
Im trying to play the Villains game, but that board seems like it is gonna kinda slow.
