Keep playing World of Warcraft or try something new?

Hello everyone,

I have been playing World of Warcraft for about a year now just making twinks. I got myself a warrior to level 60 and at the moment no guilds are recruiting I was in a MC/ZG guild but I didn't manage to get any good gear as It was passed to the Main tank. No PVE guilds are recruiting at the moment so im stuck. I can't really be asked to PvP loads as I want to go out too. Shall I keep playing WoW for Burning Crusade or try something new? Im really bored with WoW at the moment so thats what put me off it. I was looking at RF online and it seems quite a fun game.

Cheers

I gave it up. If I was in a MC guild there was too much drama, if I wasn't there was nothing to do but only you can decide if you want to keep playing. I suggest taking a week off (that means no checking the AH or making moon cloth as well) and see if you really miss it I found I had no urge to play when I did this. But if you do keep playing.

Well, I've never seen any point in playing a game if I wasn't having fun. If your bored then really, what's the point.

About the only reason I could see you making a reason to stay is possibly re-rolling on a new server perhaps? Maybe trying your hand on one of the role play pvp servers and do a little rp'ing, I played WoW for well over a year and would have left well before that had I not had great friends and a guild there, just to have fun with.

I had a fully geared priestess, tier2 raid set, teir 2 pvp set, most of my quests completed and still with good people I managed to have fun the entire time.

If you do decide to leave you might want to look at something like Saga of Ryzom for a pretty big change and a good community, EQ2 is a solid experience at this point and if you get the all access plan with SOE you can try other games like MxO and SWG. If your a fan of the faster pace that WoW offers you could also try Guild Wars, I didn't like it much but I can certainly see the appeal for some.

Either way, good luck finding a home.
