Active Worlds VR Lists

Evening folks,

Hoping this is the right place to post this. I know from my postings about piko island earlier this year that several of you have tried Active Worlds (the 3D thingy that came before Second Life, There etc etc etc).

Well, for several weeks now I have been working on an information site for it, forums are a good place to ask for information but I was after providing something a bit more structured so people knew what was going on.

Anyway, I got around to it and have come up with http://www.awportals.com and a list of virtual worlds at http://www.awportals.com/database/worlds/ that are probably more up your street (including the gaming worlds).

I also spent the last 18 hours working my back side off to create a history of it http://www.awportals.com/history/ which should be interesting to those of you that were still playing on Amigas 10 years ago

and... thats pretty much it. Piko development is going well, it shouldn't take us too long to get it up and running, we are hoping for having upto 1000 players at a time for our trials after Christmas, so should be good.
