Is this game still carebear?

in SWG Veteran Refuge
Can anyone tell me if they ever made an SWG server for advanced players? Like an FFA PVP server where you kill a player and can take all their loot?  Or is this game still carebear?

    They were going to do that in publish 28...but nearly everyone voted no.

    like that would stop them not nearly everyone voted no for the NGE, EVERYONE voted no to it but SOE did it anyways

    Consider publish 28 was nearly for publishes ago, yes it did stop them from putting it in publish 28 ;)

    SOE went with the MGE thinking that it would make the game better .... it only pissed of thousand of established player customers who had to give up their characters profession to fit the 9 Starwary Iconic mold.

    Now they are taking little baby step back to that tyoe of former game play because if they automaticly went back to pre NGE they would be admitting that maybe, just maybe they were WRONG. Meanwhile Thousands upon thousands remain pissed but I am enjoying their company here.

    Um -- no decay, no risk, no loss, no worries at all, in fact I don't think you need alot of credits to get anything unless you must have it.   The hardships of the game from downers, waiting for a ship, buffs etc.. gone.

    However:  This was spotted at a Circut City

    The fact that a Rebel in Rebel gear can kill NPC Storm Troopers standing next to a player in Strom Trooper armor, and the Imeprial Player can't do a damn thing should tell you all you need to know. Some @#$%^&;* War...

    I've never been a fan of looting players, but when they removed the TEF the War died in Star Wars....

    I'll start my own SWG... with Black Jack... and Hookers!!!

    In fact, forget the SWG!!!!

    Well, it was a stupid proposal the way they proposed it, and especially given how in the NGE, winning or losing is based more on who gets the first strike rather than skill.  The TEF system would have been a better idea, but they refuse to go there.

    I said at the time that they deliberately threw out something ridiculous like the corpse looting idea to give us something to shoot down to give us the perception that we are being "heard".  I don't think they had any intention of doing that at all, as that is WAY harsher than the TEF system, which people keep asking for and they refuse.

    They never listen to us when it counts.  Or even ask for feedback on big things, such as the CUNGE.  What they then do is allow us input on trivialities.
