Well, I hate to be the bad guy here, but, well, it is the mods job to enforce the rules.  I can obtain no proof other than forwarding the accounts to Stradden or Admin, but, here is why it was questioned if approval was sought:

Major Infractions

Multiple Accounts - If the staff of MMORPG.com discovers that a user is creating and/or using multiple accounts, that user, and all accounts, both past and present, will be banned from MMORPG.com.

Sorry to be the ass, just doing the job.

We weren't using multiple accounts. The accounts were two separate entities, much like an alt. And it was all in good humor, which I'm sure my baby's daddy Stradden can see. Well, at least I hope, I should have never admitted to it!

Oh, and what about Norked?

I know, and see, I am trying to get clarification.  I do not quite understand the reasoning for the rule.  It's not a stab at either of you, so do not take it that way.  And yes, I know it was all in good fun.

And, as for Norked; when mods were not allowed to post within the forums, we were given permission for alts so we may still post, but, someone took Norked out and did some assanine things, so, I killed Norked.

Wow guys, just... wow. Stunning. I don't know if I've seen a thread in a while that actually breaks so many of our rules.

First, creating multiple accounts is against our rules because it makes it very difficult to ENFORCE the rules and enables rule-breaking in other areas on the site. Doing so for these reasons.... probably not harmful, if a bit lame. Still, we can not, in general, make exceptions.

Second, gay-bashing is considered hate-related content and will not be tolerated.

Third, general flaming. Lots of it.

Fourth, personal attacks.

Yeah, that about clears it up.

This once, I'm just going to lock the thread and back away slowly, whistling a merry tune. Let's all remember that before we pull something like that, we should probably read the RoC and NOT assume that they don't apply to you or what you are doing.
